We have a great space in Lisboa for sharing the amazing works of art from the Steemians around the world.
The rustic cement walls at the LX Factory are the perfect backdrop for the nearly 140 images that will be exhibited for the Steemians at Steemfest, and for the public of Lisbon as well.
YES IT IS TRUE---WE ARE EXHIBITING THEM ALL!!!!
We started with a blank slate in this creative space and are transforming it into one big work of art.
@roelandp printed ALL of the submissions that came from individual artists AND the initiatives. So if you submitted your work--it's going up on these walls!!!
We spread out all 138 images and just marveled in their magnificence.
OMG!!!! What a spread of truly inspired creation!!
@saramiller and @opheliafu helped to label all of the images and arrange them into groupings for display.
Just look at all these artists who are represented here!!
We collaborated together to get all the images on the walls.
@lifemovedbysteem got into the action by helping to put the lights together.
@roelandp and @quinneaker gave light to the space.
We fine tuned our presentation.
And got some nailing help from @prc.
We will have a sweet triple television projection of the Collaborative Art Journey video, and potentially a wall projection as well.
The exhibit will be open throughout the rest of the week. Our prime time will be Saturday and Sunday in the space, where we will have workshops, collaborative art projects, yoga, acoustic music improv, and anything else that inspires us.

A huge thanks to @roelandp for all of the powerful effort he has given to Steemfest, and for making this an epic experience for us all. He thinks of every detail and puts it into action, and we are all benefitting from his abilities. It is already unfolding to be an even more powerful gathering than last year---OMG! No doubt there is so much more in store.

Agreed!!!! I imagine the possibilities for a real soft and cushy hang-out space, a more focused open mic, food, drinks and lots more ART!!

Excellent .... I tried to get my work in there.... but they needed 4000 pixels or something ??? maybe next year.
The resolution was a bit of a challenge for a lot of people. Most of the images came out pretty well. The work is amazing!
What kind of camera do I need for 4000 pixels ?
I wish I knew. I'm not really savvy about these things, but next year perhaps we will be able to give/get more input on how to make that happen. It seems like a sticking point for a lot of people.
its usually a proper camera(dslr) that can take the photo in raw format.

The slider is really so very clever! We put it near the entrance so it would be seen right away. What a blessing to haver her piece here with ours.

Thank you for your kind answer. Although I'm an artist by profession, I have organized numerous exhibitions with artists from all over the world, I know what it takes!
I wish I could have been there, helping to set it all up and meeting interesting people. Oh well, maybe next time..
