#STEEMGIGS: (motivation & inspiration) — Ulog#5: Invest in Steemit: The knowledge bank get infinite possible returns

in #steemgigs6 years ago

Hello fellow Steemians, Uloggers and Steemgigers. Today I want to share with you a great opportunity that steem and steem-based applications was able to provide me. Maybe a quick background about myself would give you a better appreciation of the message I want to convey. To most Steemian I am ankarlie but my real name is Anidel. I turned 19 years old last August 31st. I finished High School in Pedro Diaz in Muntinlupa City in 2015. Due to some personal problems I run away from home the same year and I have been independent ever since. Life was very hard for me when I ran away from home and I have to work different types of jobs just to sustain myself. From being a nanny, stall attendant, canteen waitress and the like. Since I have not graduated college my options were limited to low paying jobs which most of the time does not give me the proper compensation to survive but miraculously I survived. You can say that I had a hand-to-mouth existence then which is fine with me since I am a very thrifty person.

All that change one night when I was walking home from my work. I was mugged. Fortunately the two men that mugged me were only able to get my bag as I was able to run away leaving my belongings. It was that time that I have decided that doing a night time job was not for me. I was traumatized by that experience and since then I have thought of just finding work online. I think it was a perfect fit for me since I like staying online long hours just reading and watching interesting stuff. During that time also I have suitor who was once a customer of the Canteen where I worked previously.  I advised me to check out online jobs that might be available. I discovered PlanProMatrix and Secret2Success online jobs/business.  The work is more of inviting people to join and it did not work out for me since I found it hard to invite people especially if the online opportunity entails some sort of investment.

I was desperate to find something that I can live off and I searched other earning opportunities online. I found out that there were several earning opportunities that I can do Pay-to-click sites, micro-task sites and survey sites were available. I started doing them but I felt that I cannot sustain those types of work. They were boring really and I felt that I am getting dumb doing those kinds of stuff. I told my suitor and soon to be my boyfriend about my dilemma and he agreed that indeed those types of online jobs might make me a dumb person (jokingly). He later suggested that I take a look at bitcoins a new type of money and learn about it. It was very hard for me to understand with all the technical details I have to learn. I have found a mentor online which thought me the basics of what bitcoins are. My boyfriend was also of great help has he explained to me the fundamentals about cryptocurrencies he also offered financial assistance and give me a chance to do buying and selling computer components online while teaching me computer stuff and cryptocurrencies I found cryptocurrencies very appealing as it is something very new. Not everyone knew about it and which I think I can excel especially that I have a great mentor like my boyfriend. He was an early adapter of cryptocurrencies but did not really invest in it until early 2017. He thought me how to do faucets, cryptocurrency wallets and about Blockchain. You can say that most of the things I write about cryptocurrencies were taught by him. However, my boyfriend has a business to run and is having a hard time to spend time with me which forced me to do my own research and learn on my own. The last cryptocurrency we worked at is Raiblocks and some lending coins. I wanted to get him into Steem which he promised he will soon if he finds time to do so.

I have find some sort of success here in steemit in fact I was given an online job opportunity to do some writings and research on cryptocurrencies by a cryptocurrency investment firm. I hesitated at first but I realize that I can get better insight in investments and about cryptocurrency if I will be able to join their team and so I did. Currently I am monitoring and doing research on around 70 different cryptocurrencies which covers a broad range of unique industries from medicine, financial, manufacturing, food, data analytics, technology, social media,  IoT and etc. All of which was made possible because the owner of the company that I am currently working in saw some of my work here in steemit. I am not sure which one I wrote but I am glad they noticed me.

I am sharing this experience because I found it amazing that I was given such opportunity and the only thing I did was to write cryptocurrency related articles with a fair amount of effort. You see there is really incentive to do your best when writing a steemit blog-post. You’ll never know the next person that might see your work might be the CEO or owner of company that is looking for a writer /contributor/researcher about the topic you are writing about.

Now don’t get the impression that it is easy. It is not and entails a lot of effort in learning and understanding the different aspects of cryptocurrencies. It takes a certain amount of time, effort and risk in learning them. Do not be afraid to learn new stuff, to take risks and even fail. Even though you see yourself earning cents do not lose heart as the amount of learning you experience is a million times more valuable than the SBD /STEEM Power you will earn for your blog-post.  The knowledge you attain in writing the blog piece will never be depleted and cannot be taken away from you.

Knowledge is power and it will give you opportunities. Try to learn cryptocurrencies and its technological underpinning the Blockchain or Distributed ledger technology or similar technology such as the Directed Acyclic Graph. Leverage the power of the internet. All the learning you need have to do is all in there and if that knowledge is not readily available online then ask the particular lesson on a Steem blog-post. I am pretty sure someone might be able to comment the answer to your question. You might not notice it yet but Steemit is like a knowledge bank where you can deposit and withdraw knowledge take advantage of it. This is the only bank that does not deducts from your liquid assets whenever you deposit and gives you back a million possible returns when you withdraw.

I am also little bit afraid in the beginning that how I can work on steemit because this is first ever online job that I have ever experienced because I am a student....It seems very difficult for me to work on steemit because I have not any formal type of training, just my sister taught me few things...so I have done many mistakes in beginning, sometimes It seems to me that i am teased of these experiences but as you have said that it's a knowledge bank, and definitely I have learn many things from it...so I am still a member of it..

Hello everything is usually hard at first but when you get used to it you will enjoy and get to do it more efficiently with higher quality. Don't stop believing that you can do just keep on trying until you discover you niche and build your followers/readers. Yes indeed it is a knowledge bank and everyone is invited to deposit and withdraw.

I am confused about which type of posts I have to has on my blog

really enjoyed your story. Upvote and follow from here.

Hello there nice to see you in one of my post. Sure I will follow you and will try to visit some of you post also if i find somethings of interest. See you around :)

It is so true and this is why your life story is always inspiring because you are a person that even with all the opportunities that you worked hard for has remained humble and grounded unlike some people give them a tiny measure of power and they lord it over people.

We are building the infinite knowledge bank that comes from our brains and our hearts. It is where we can help build their dreams and give hope and inspiration.

You are a true celebrity of Ulogs and I will always remain a true fan.

Aww that is so nice to hear Kuya Judd :)

Astig ka Ani! At 19 you are kicking ass.

What an inspiration. I need a mentor and even though I'm older I am not ashamed to ask help.

Praying for your continued success!

Yes I need a mentor also. I found one: @Surpassinggoogle there is a lot of his teaching simplified in @steemsecrets :) and more currently in ulogs and his talk show in discord.

Very inspiring story, Anidel. Indeed, knowledge is power!

Thank you sir @dbooster I haven't been seeing you around lately are you still doing Haikus in your post-blog? Incidently I was about to make post about substratum the utility token you mentioned several months ago. They just released an installable node in windows without having to compile it. You might want to check it out also

Yes, they have the beta for Mac too. I am considering installing it because I love the idea, but I don't really have any time to troubleshoot if something goes wrong so I may hold off a while and just watch. At any rate, I am still loving them and buying more little by little. I haven't had any time to do haiku translations lately, unfortunately, but I have been doing daily random photo post under the tag "randomjapan" and "randomasia". Check out my random Japan posts to see how I am doing it. I have gotten a lot of people to join into the idea so far. Anyone can join. If you have some random photos, why not do a "randomph" post?

Good one, when I was introduced to steemit about 3 months ago I taught it was a scam like others not knowing that is paying at least I know what I can boost on now. Thank God for steemit, apart from that I have learned a lots from different articles from all Steemians in the world.
