The major problem for the moment when it comes to seismology is that we don't have the technology to predict earthquakes before it happens... still an application that detects when it is happening is very handy as in case of a major earthquake, the authorities can do the necessary actions to save as many lives as possible... every single second counts in those moments. I totally agree. Notifications as eartquake happens are still very helpful than nothing at all. With the continous evolvement of technology, may our researchers find a way to predict earthquake before it happens.
