New Reputation System Coming Soon - Hunter Level

As you know, Steemhunt is running our own Account Based Voting (ABV) system, and @steemhunt is upvoting the hunting posts based on their final ranking of the day. This system is prone to be played by circle voters utilising the weakness of ABV system (1 account has 1 vote regardless of its SP). Regardless of our countless efforts, there are still a number of abusers, and their ranking is based on their vote for vote power, rather than the quality.

This week, we will bring a whole new @steemhunt upvoting system - Hunter Level-based Steemhunt Upvotes. This approach is designed to get rid of the origin of circle voting motivation. All hunters on Steemhunt.com will be classified under 6 levels from lv.0 to lv.5 calculated by their contributions within our community, and @steemhunt will upvote their content based on their level.

We will officially announce when this new system is ready.

Summary of the Past Week

1. New Guardian/Resignation

Last week we invited the new guardian - @jayplayco. He has been working as a moderator since Steemhunt was launched. He has a wide range of entrepreneurial and business development experiences in the EU and S.Korea, so we believe that he can bring many productive ideas to improve the quality of our community operation and moderation process.

Unfortunately, our highly talented and dedicated guardian @fknmayhem decided to resign from his guardian role, but he will continue to work with Steemhunt as a moderator. He was involved with the successful setting up of the guardian role, and he has greatly improved our moderation system, as well as the quality of our ranking chart. Although he has resigned from the guardian role, you will still see him from his moderation work. We sincerely appreciate your great work @fknmayhem!

2. Steemhunt Influencers

Steemhunt Influencers - curation ambassadors to promote/support quality hunting posts on Steemhunt - are up and running. We update the participants on a weekly basis, and here are the influencers for week 3 including the newly selected people:

Weekly Sponsor Rewards

Here are the week’s STEEM rewards and HUNT tokens reserved for sponsors (the STEEM rewards have already been sent to sponsors from @steemhunt.pay). 90,000 HUNT tokens per day are reserved for the sponsors, which amounts to 630,000 tokens per week.

          Hopefully the new method bring more zeal and reward. The previous one the return is not enough againstt the amount of time and effort in hunting a product.

            The previous return is more than most would ever get from just posting. There is no thing such as “reward against amount of time” on Steem. Nobody is employed on Steem, nobody can expect ANYTHING.
