I am sure every one is delighted with the recent price increase in Steem
However I must echo the sentiments of my blog a few weeks previously. Price hikes like this inevitably bring people to the platform with the view of manipulating the system without considering benefiting the community at large.
This New Year will definitely bring progress to the world of Steemit. Not only will users indirectly benefit from the introduction of Smart Media Tokens, there will undoubtedly be improvements brought to the platform.
I know that @starkerz and the guys at #promo-steem are building a website that sounds as if it has huge potential. It will help enable structured community upvoting and implement a Steem Ambassador Programme,
Let's hope that this year is fantastic for the platform and that new users, new ideas and new communities are built!
Let's not forget that Steemit allows people around the world less fortunate than yourself to make a living by uploading creative and helpful content for others to enjoy!
