Since joining steemit last September I've built up my account and other the last couple of months started taking some of my rewards out to get some jobs done around the house. The first thing I got was a new BBQ and table and chairs set for outside, next up was some hedge trimmers to help out with keeping on top of the garden.
Today we had a new shed delivered that I'm going to make into a play house in the garden for my daughters. I've been promising them I'd get one for a few years but there was always something else that we needed to spend our money on. They're both staying at friends today so with luck I should be able to have it put up by the time they get home and suprise them with their new play house.
Thats totally awesome great to see steem turn into real life objects
It's really helping out, the main job for this summer is putting in a new bathroom and that too is being paid for by steemit. I'm just waiting on delivery of the shower cubical and then I can start.
Without steemit I doubt we could have afforded to do it.

Congratulations on the new play hours for your children. I hope they will be so happy to see it. I am happy that Steemit is helping you buy stuff for your family. I now it still doesn’t pay all your bills, but still, it is worth something.
