Abdullah Learns About Patience
Abdullah: mom, will the medical doctor give me medication? Will it paintings right away?
mom: We have to see what the physician says. but usually it takes a few days until the cold virus gets away. No medication cures a cold virus; it only enables you experience better, in sh’allah.
Abdullah: mom, why did Allah send us illness?
mom: illness is a exam from Allah and we must be patient. Verily, Allah is with the patient. additionally, the coolest component is that for any struggling we've got Allah forgives some of our sins. consequently, it is right to say Astafirullah when we are sick.
Abdullah: What does Allah say about endurance?
mom: there is a verse inside the Holy Qur’an: {O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere} [Al-Baqarah 2:153]
Abdullah is a 9 yr-vintage boy. He loves to get things done right away. His mother takes him to the physician’s office. He fell ill with the cold. He complains to his mom that he's feeling depressing and desires to get well in a moment. He asks his mom:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ} البقرة: 153
Transliteration: Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Astaīnū Biş-Şabri Wa Aş-Şalāati 'Inna Allāha Maa Aş-Şābirīna
So, you can make du’a and ask Allah to make you healthy again.
Abdullah: Good, mom. Do people get ill in Jannah, too?
mother: Oh, no, people never get sick in Jannah. Allah makes our our bodies young and strong, for those people who go to Jannah. In sh’allah, if we're patient about any take a look at Allah offers us, we are able to go to Jannah, too.
Abdullah gets called to the physician’s office. He now knows that he must be patient. while the physician asks him how he looks like, he says he feels sick; but, he does no longer complain anymore and says that patience is the key to recovery. The medical doctor could be very pleased to look that the sort of young boy like Abdullah have the sort of high quality thinking. The medical doctor gives Abdullah his acetaminophen (Tylenol) prescription. He tells him it will assist with the headache and congestion.
Abdullah thanks the medical doctor and asks Allah to get healed as soon as possible. meanwhile, he tells his mom that he might be patient till he gets higher.
Abdullah: Oh, mother, and do i get to stay home, too.
mother: best for one or days, until you get a little higher, in sh’allah.
i'm very happy you are calm approximately your contamination now.
Abdullah: yes, mom, we best get higher whilst Allah wishes us to get better.
mother: Of course, Allah in His mercy gave us doctors and medicines to help us heal as soon as possible.
Abdullah: sure, however in the meantime we have to be patient.
mother: thanks to Allah, you subsequently got my point.
After days, Abdullah gets to feel higher and goes to highschool. He gets surely well 5 days after the disorder began. He now thanks Allah for getting his health lower back and for getting to know to be patient as properly. A affected person must be patient, he thinks! What a good new rhyme.
