Thanks for this insight, i must say i am getting lost with all these 3rd party services being created, i would still like to see the Steemit default platform incorporate a better search.
Yes, there really are a lot of them! I've contributed quite a few haha. At least there is a centralized place that lists them all in case you may not be aware. It is SteemTools.com by @roelandp, also linked in the right handed menu on Steemit as Steem App Center
