Hard Fork 19 changed the system to a linear reward curve and made votes more powerful.

Its the hardfork @clains it has basically lowered your voting capacity but upgraded your voting power.

Sweet rewards awaiting. But bear in mind that the 100% of the power lasts only for 10 upvotes a day, then it starts diminishing

Clains, I wish to thank you personally for voting for me this past year. Steem has been fun from the beginning, when most people recognized each other. Now it is a little easier to get followers and votes, but I still thank you for contributing to my success. (It was probably like a year ago, but still that's cool and its good to see you're still at it.)

I haven't scrolled through the comments, so this may have already been addressed. But, apparently, voting power of 100% is only good for about 10 or 11 votes, and then it starts to be reduced. Users shouldn't go above 20 votes per day.
This is what I read earlier today, when I was scouring several posts to get the scoop on Hard Fork 19 and what it is. (I'm still pretty damn new here.)

I'm an expert at travel; and quite the opposite at computers and related stuff. For me to be on steemit is kind of a fluke, but I'm here cause it's a perfect fit for me; having great writing skill combined with my travel knowledge and way to earn from my computer....I had to join!
Seriously, I just got facebook like a year ago. I was the last of my friends to get an email address. When I read post like yours, it's like one big light-bulb going off one after another. So than you so much for sharing.
The thing with me is that, I basically worked illegally teaching English in Korea for years, since age 20, I'm now 34. So I always tried to keep my life on the down low. Which meant no social media and so on. But now I see what I've been missing, so thanks again for another enlightening explanation of this thing works.
On a further note, I've only been on here for a month, and I write travel reports, no fluff, with a rating system and everything. As a newbie who just crossed over with a 100 followers. I'd love for you to check out my blog. I'll certainly be following yours!
