I'm hopeful that with the recent news about Facebook's handling of our data, that more people will be attracted to places like steemit, in the same way that some high-quality YouTubers came over after that company introduced the demonetization for some. I would prefer to see all content accepted on steemit through other apps like Dtube, busy.org etc.
I still have a Facebook account, but I often just use it to post a link to a steemit blog. I'm sure I'll soon get rid of it and spend my time on steemit instead.
