May 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day Fourteen: What’s Your Favorite Writing Topic? Why?

in #steemit6 years ago

Welcome to the fourteenth day of the May 30 days writing challenge. If you don't know what this challenge is about, please have a look at the introductory post. Also, at the end of each article I will post the links to all the posts in the challenge (if you're joining the challenge, I encourage you to do the same). Also, if you join, don't forget to tag your post with #challenge30days and also leave a comment with the link of your post, so I can evaluate if you're one of the 3 lucky Steemians that will get a full upvote from me.

What’s Your Favorite Writing Topic? Why?

Obviously, my favorite writing topic is crypto. And by crypto I understand both the financials and the governance, as in both tokens and blockchain. I think this is also one of the biggest reasons I'm on Steemit and not, let's say, Libry. The audience and the community on Steemit seems more crypto-savvy than any other community I visited on the Internet. Of course, there are also some very nice groups on reddit and Medium, but at the end of the day I would also want to have something in my wallet, if you know what I mean.

But it wasn't always like this, you know. For a long time, I wrote about self-improvement on my other blog, and then, once I started to run more consistently, I wrote more about running. We're changing all the time and that's the nature of our existence here, so it's normal that our interests are changing.

So, what's your favorite writing topic these days? Leave a link to your post in the comments so I can check it out.

Wanna know when you're getting paid?

I know the feeling. That's why I created steem.supply, an easy to use and accurate tool for calculating your Steemit rewards

It's free to use, but if you think this is a useful addition, I'd appreciate your witness vote.

Thank you!

Some SteemCent's for you

I love to write about life and love. I am a wildly empathetic person and I love to discuss and explore feelings and emotions in my writings; it is sort of like therapy to me. I don't care for the scientific or the technical in the stories I encounter: the human angle have a stronger pull on me.

Well done on your challenge as well... I am looking forward to starting something like that when I finally learn the ropes on Steemit. If you don't mind another student, then you've just got one!

Crypto is why most of us got into Steemit, but seeing how other content grows is a nice way to realize this platform has a fascinating potential.
Here's my post

Wow 14days, thanks @dragosroua for all your support

Yeah, it’s the 14th day people, I hope you all are having fun. This is engaging, it is getting more interesting by the day

Thanks, @dragosroua I participated once in the challenge and it is really a good one. Before I joined steemit I did not know anything about cryptocurrency but as time goes by am gaining more knowledge and more interests in writing about it , it is really an interesting topic

Man Is born to be flexible so a topic so interesting today might not tomorrow.
I like one statement from you though :

The audience and the community on Steemit seems more crypto-savvy than any other community I visited on the Internet. Of course, there are also some very nice

I love crypto... I love that it's the first real disrupter we have seen in 1000 years+ to cash. It might not succeed in this, but it is the beginning of a revolution this planet needs to decentralise wealth.

I don't post much about it as I'm not an expert on the technical side - but I do promote it. I especially love Steem of course and occasionally write about this as well.

It seems that I mostly write as an excuse to complain. I mean, I couldn't even write about today's topic without complaining about Steemit a bit. I don't even do it actively, the complaining just flows through the fingers. Now I'm complaining about complaining... there is no end to this ouroboros .

Yet again, I enjoyed writing about this topic. Not only that I love writing about stuff, I feel like I would also love making videos. I just have not found the courage to start yet but I guess there might come a time for that somewhere down the road.

Here is my entry for today.

My favorite is life and social issue. In my 2 cent opinions. There are many people in this world who are living miserable life due to anxiety and depression. We do some thing inspirational and motivational for those people. It's better to write few motivational and inspirational post as it may help to give new hope to any people @dragosroua

I think I learn more from you about cryptos than any other single source, so I'm glad you like to do it, because it's been easy to understand and informative. Even when you're giving your opinion about what's happening. So thanks for that.

I probably should add, though, that cryptos aren't my favorite topic, so I mean it when I say, I appreciate how you write.

Now that you know what my favorite topic is not :) here's my link for today.

Hi Dragosroua, do you have Discord? I wanted to talk with you regarding your witness efforts and simply getting to know you since we are both witnesses.

My team and I are building a new Steem based platform at the moment for which I might need help from witnesses later.

My account on Discord is valorforfreedom#1158

I'm not on Discord, but you can try reaching me via the Steemit chat, I have the same username.

Thanks for the topic. I love writing about crypto now as well, but I think another topic still has it beat on my list. Here's my post: https://steemit.com/challenge30days/@michaelluchies/what-s-your-favorite-writing-topic-30-days-writing-challenge-day-14

I don;t think that I have one single topic that I like writing about as I write whatever inspires me or make me react or think.

Here is my post for today
https://steemit.com/challenge30days/@maverickinvictus/may-30-days-writing-challenge-day-fourteen-what-s-your-favorite-writing-topic-why

my favorite writing topic is life events and fiction, sometimes a little bit of politics and news

That vague and interstitial domain known as Cultural Studies.

It's an area I have very little formal training in, and have lots of opinions about. Because I have little formal training, I am forced to think hard about whether my speculations stand up to scrutiny, and I put extra effort into structuring an argument. That, I find very enjoyable.

I enjoy writing about stuff I am actually trained in, as well. But that's not nearly as challenging.

Thanks for this challenge I am going to make a post on Day-Fourteen challenge @dragosroua

Clearly, your favorite text is Crypto. You can learn a lot about crypto

My thoughts like you ... But I like to write stories

Thanks for challenge. I am going to post there.

Thanks, @dragosroua for this challenge.
