Hi there!
I'm in my second week in Steemit, and I was planning to used as a mix of all my social networks
- as Facebook to publish funny staff with no much more intention than to have fun
- as Linkedin to publish business content
- as some other blogs to share reviews and interesting content
The problem I see here is that it's difficult to reach the correct target of my posts. I think until now I have published some interesting (at least not rubish) content, but I didn't even get a single visit. It's very frustrating.
Why is that? (IMO)
- There is no easy way to publish in an specific are but the tags, and they don't work properly if you get out of the 15 most common ones
- There is no main focus for the content, that makes that some very specific content may never hit a proper target here, or it will be difficult they arrived to it
- The content is very volatile, and after a few minutes after published it get lost in the indexes and main results
Perhaps I got it wrong and I don't understand it properly, but at the moment this is my feeling. Do you agree or it's just me?
Some upvotes for you :)
Thank you @wix, but do you agree or you think I'm doing something wrong? I feel sometimes quite frustrated after invest time and effort to write good content.
From what I've learned and seen so far is the people who make the most money on here get very personal about themselves and their lives. What I would suggest you do is make a introduction post. If you need a example look at mine https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@wix/hello-steemit-this-is-my-introductoin
A picture with a piece of paper with your account name and date is very important, letting people know that your a real person and not some bot or some one pretending to be someone else.
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. I already introduced myself with picture, but without paper :-) I'll continue checking what most people do, and try to give it a second opportunity :-)
I'll follow you to keep learning
