Steemit is full of life and of different good people of the world and also a great way to bring the whole wide world together as one, i see people of different tribes good opinions, attitudes and wholesomeness .
Steemit is a lovely platform like no other where steemians interact with one another and also get paid for their impact in the platform via posting .
This is one of the best innovations that has ever being created and will continue to change lives.
i believe steemit will go a long way and with no issues.
though there are some awesome features that i want to appeal to @steemit to add more to make the platform more awesome.
Ability to send a private message to someone directly on steemit.
Ability to Delete a post
3 To be Able to get notified whenever you are tagged in a post.
I believe with all these few wonderful features steemit will continue to be a thriving platform for all and sundry and will continue to bring the world together and also bring peace to one another.

No.2 is impossible because of the base concept of block chain. The data is incorruptible and absolute.
No.3 Is very important!
No.1 I'm not sure is possible without some exterior app but im not a dev so could be talking out my ass.

I joined about a month ago and am still amazed on how good of a platform it is. It sometimes annoys me though how good post are overlooked and some random crap is on the trending section for days. But I guess the authors have earned that in some way and given more value to this platform before.
I totally agree with your points - expect the deleting part. I think it is best if you can't delete. Otherwise there probably would be even more spam posts.
