Well I cant really say that bots are bad for Steemit, because they help many Minnows and Newbies. They are bad if they upvote plagiarism or any bad content.
Newbies can spend hours on a post that nobody reads at the end. Thats why bots can be helpful to make their work visible and help them gain new followers :)

I use the bots exactly for this. Visibility is so important for us in the red fish level, and even trying to break out into becoming minnows is quite daunting if we're not aware of the bidding and curating strategies.

Yes it can be very challenging. Try to earn with writing good comments for the start. It will take sometimes, but everything will work out :)

I appreciate the advice. Luckily I like to blog as well, and hopefully my posts quality are up to par to what's expected in this community. BTW, my apologies for the double posting, I don't know what happened there....
