Hello Steemians, I've thought it wise to gift you all two steaming hot pieces(poems) as I start this walk. Don't be selfish, do well to share with friends not just on #steemit.
WE ARE PENGICIANS
We are PENGICIANS
Like Magicians we make words dance without music.
We make you visualize pictures in words and words in pictures.
We make sorrow drown in the sea of our ink and cause love to spring forth from bitter hearts.
We sow hope into hopeless hands and reap ripe fruits from barren lands.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Beauticians we make you admire the beauty of words and the beauty in words.
We paint words with rhymes that will make you smile.
We are PENGICIANS
But unlike Politcians we mean what we say and say what we mean.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Mathematicians we solve problems with words formula
by adding letters to form words and dividing lines to get stanzas.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Musicians our lyrical lines are like musical instruments.
Giving rhythms that will make you nod
As our voices echo for change for which it was meant.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Electricians we connect live cables right from our amiable Pens
that are able to lighten up your heart and make it stable.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Physicians we heal with soothing words.
Like syrup our inks are medicinal and like toxin, it hurts others.
We are PENGICIANS
Like Tacticians we tactically tackle trending troubles
as we skillfully handle our winning weapon which is the PEN.
WE ARE PROUD TO BE CALLED PENGICIANS.
YES TO EDUCATION
Imagine a generation that relegates Education to a hidden location.
What will be the situation
if not retardation instead of illumination?
What will be the situation If not like a child suffering from malnutrition?
Only if they have seen procrastination as an abomination.
Who birthed Civilization?
Who nurtured millions of World population and raised Nations
now speaking about industrialization?
Who? Who? Who if not Education?
Education is the foundation for proper formation.
It widens your imagination
sharps your dreams and sharpens your vision.
Education sets you on a meaningful mission.
It is the centre for information without which the mind is denied renovation.
There’s no limitation in Education
‘Cause determination is the fuel that drives this vehicle of transformation.
Education doesn’t start at entrance examination
and doesn’t stop after graduation.
You know why?
Education is beyond the four walls of an institution.
It’s more than the addition and the substraction
More than the dictation and comprehension.
Education is the continuous change in the mind’s orientation.
So, say YES TO EDUCATION
Accept it without consideration.
Then you’ll live a life of satisfaction
And be happy with your profession
