I recently accessed my Steemit blog using Brave Browser and noticed that the verified author symbol appeared 
, this is something that caught my attention since it was very recent since my attention since I had not noticed.
Clicking this icon next unfolded the window:
Indeed Steemit.com is verified as a Brave creator.
This will allow you to tip BAT tokens to Steemit.com.
This ecosystem allows content creators to be rewarded through of "tips" given in BAT tokens.
But beyond this fact, what I consider important is that Steemit trusts and supports Brave's initiative.
Would it be possible to create an alliance between STEEM and BRAVE?
With the use of Steem-Engine a new SMT token could be developed that would allow users to exchange Between STEEM and BAT for free. It would be very practical to be able to convert the Steem that I win in BAT and vice versa.
In my case I would like to convert my Steem earned in BAT, so I can use it in my browser and support the other content creators.
In the same way if I had a large amount of BAT in my browser or Uphold wallet, I would love to be able to convert it into Steem or Steem Power.
Support content creators and earn BAT tokens.

Right now being verified by Brave simply means that website visitors can tip the website owner. In this case visitors can tip steemit.com with BAT. I will love to see some kind of collaboration to allow visitors to tip creators directly with BAT

It would be wonderful if the brave creator platform allowed us to add our steemit blog to the channel register to earn tips.
So far only YouTube, twitter, reddit, twicht and own domains (web pages) are allowed.
That would be an excellent collaboration and I think in the future along with the current services they accept. They will have to open to crypto and blogs as well.
For now the thing that is delaying the entire process is that the ads are not available in many countries. So that should be a priority before all.

Yes I use it and they also have a great community on reddit for brave browser.
Even if they are expanding... it’s still too slowly. That is the thing I miss the most otherwise is the perfect browser for everything on the desktop at least.

That's really useful information, I use Brave browser too. I hope Steem and Brave can show others how it's possible to connect crypto ideas together and make a bigger and more stable network of blockchain users and service providers!
Brave is not stable but slow for many users and the Steemit inc top keeps selling it's Steem. It is not something to have trust in, which is exactly why so many accounts are inactive 💕

I am also a Brave user for watching Youtube videos, this news is a good news to all steem user since they reap the rewards of having tip of BAT tokens as well as onboard more Brave (non-Brave browser) users to the steem platform.

Whilst I think it is a little ambitious to assume an alliance between Steem and Brave, I would welcome it.
Brave browser already allows use of Steem keychain and the news you have offered of us being able to earn BAT, whilst enjoying our time on Steemit is awesome.
I think if they were to offer a token on SteemEngine that you could also earn on Brave it would be awesome and help both Brave browser and Steem blockchain grow.

Although it's cool to know this (and I will definitely share with a friend who uses Brave), I will remain with Firefox, Brave doesn't have 32-bit linux support and I don't use 64-bit apps, would use it only in a Windows machine prepared for gaming, and never use that machine with anything related with blockchain or cryptos, for security reasons ;)Anyway, good to know about this possible alliance between Brave and STEEM, would definitely prefer to see it happening with Firefox, still, it's good to know..Thank You for another awesome post!!All the best,Cy

Brave has a cooperative relationship with many websites. Steemit is just one of them. In the direction of finding a partner, brave is more successful, and it has many partners.

I doubt if it is important to have trust in Steemit inc their faith in Brave. The top keeps selling and Steem is hardly worth anything. Will the advertisers stay?
It is only getting harder to start/join here with less SP no way to engage to others or post.
After the next fork it will even get harder. Less for the author so way less chance to engage.
Brave is not working for me, I read more people suffer from it's slowness. To be honest I see no reason to donate to Steemit.
If than it's better to buy Steem. If more people do so it might work out well or even great.

I’ve been using Brave on a couple of different platforms for a while now and have had no problems with it. As they say, your mileage may vary...
Happy to hear it works for you. I just deleted it from my phone. It can not or hardly load a site and that annoys memore as the token I perhaps might get.
