Finally Free
From the beginning I have always
Stood better on two feet, only
Holding half of the world’s fears.
I’m not broken from any emotional
card game waiting to be played
out. I stand tall only for me
to awake what lies within my
Heart.
Will it ever be seen as true
Beauty, I will never know but the
Beating race in my chest verifies
I’m still standing.
Standing to survive
The blows thrown from beneath
The soul of life. Holding onto
All the small things, as if
I fear them never to be true.
Closing down all emotional calls
to open up the truth of my life.
I am finally free from the emotional
Wreck that awaits me.
