Hey fellow steemians, No doubt that this community is great and there is great people on it.But was is so disappointing about it is the money 💰rewards. It is a great thing to get rewarded for posting great stuff but there are some people on this community that think that if they vote for something you wrote that will make you a billionaire that their vote is your way of salvation.
Personally I'm not in it for the money.I'm only here because I liked the community and I thought that people will vote for the things they love and share -resteem- some of it but things are not as I expected.I thought I had some knowledge and some nice things to share that's why I joined.
The least you can do is vote for what you like and if you don't like something mention it in the comments. But don't just look at it and leave. And if you're not going to engage just don't follow.it's that simple. Especially for me, I would love to have so many followers but I prefer quality over quantity. Look at some of the things I post if you like them then you're welcome to follow and be around I would love to learn from you as well since we have so much in common if you don't like anything just leave in peace and find someone with the same interests.
This is how steemians are great this is how we are better then other communities because we support each other and we support creative and helpful content. It may not always be as great as we expect but at least it's original.

a friend told me about this platform and he described it the way you write it here so I hope that many more people share this thought , and not that I have something against Facebook but I hope it's not going to be used in the exact negative way Facebook is used sometimes, and I hope to have no more advertising . I'm new and don't know yet how to vote and send steem but if I could I would

I understand what you mean. I think every new platform must proof ​ itself in a certain matter of time. Also, ​this platform is not finished and needs many improvements. On the other way, ​I​ think, that if you are delivering good content its a matter of time, that real follower are coming, who are following you of your content and not because they expect that you follow them back. I think one important thing as an ​author here is to be patient. Nothing grows from now to tomorrow​, everything​ needs time.
@modernpastor thnx for the comment and for your valuable feedback. You're right and things are slow but this blog was just a view on how to make steem it a better place and a better community to learn and interact with some great individuals not just somewhere where we post just to make some pennies and cents.

Unfortunately I converted all my Steem to SP, I didn't know that the system is exploited by auto voting bots and users who decided to sell their votes.
And I​ totally agree with you. In this point, you are totally right.
