A few days ago I made a post saying steem is about to rally because it has been trading under $1 for quite some time and I feel it was undervalued.

At that point of posting, many altcoins had already mooned 60-70% some even 100%. I didnt really expect it to suddenly shoot up like this because I thought it will slowly consolidate and then creep up so that we have time to react. Well, this is crypto-land and it has always been a roller coaster ride.
What surprise me more is the price of SBD also shot up to the moon too. At the time of posting, SBD is trading at $2.03usd which is a 105% gain. WTF!!! Isnt it suppose to be pegged to $1USD? Why would anyone pay double the price for it? Well, sometime market can stay irrational for awhile.
Anyway hope you guys saw my post and bought yourself some steem. Steemit is a great platform and I have always believed in Steemit. Lets see if Steem can hit $10 by next year. Finger crossed!!!

I wonder will someone be able to explain what really happened in steem world? For so long both steem and SBD were tumbling around ~$1. And tonight steem jumped +25% while SBD +230%. Why is this? Why this SHARP jump? And what makes sbd to walk so much away from it's native $1 where it should sit all the time ? This SBD price crazy fluctuations is a total
mystery to me.
BTW i put another $1300 into my steempower about a week ago. I'm so glad I did.
I m also puzzled but i hope it is not jus a pump n dump... maybe some rich kid jus joined steemit and bought steem and sbd not knowing sbd is actually pegged to $1usd?? Glad you made some money. :)

If SBD is supposed to be pegged to the US Dollar, it's only a matter of time before the market corrects itself, right?
yes i believe sbd will correct itself eventually and then money pour back into steem. Steem rally has just begin and it should last for awhile.
The price difference between the two is puzzling.
