Food for thought

i find myself wondering, and pondering

thinking about this platform,is it real or just a lot of hoping

does content really matter or is everyone after up votes and the scoring

do people really comment because they want to and not after the money making

i find myself also thinking about these whales

who unlike the rest of us dont have to build their way up, its like am walking while they sail

this isnt a form of jealousy its a form of questioning where the fairness is, since it looks like its in jail

since anyone can be a whale ,and not post a single thing while you  participate but still you trail

i sit here and analyze things,  and wonder how things would me if this was the real world

where presidents could elect themselves, and  the voice of the lil guy was neglected and unheard

a world were you are given 3-45 min to impress or you are forgotten , now that would be an interesing world

but then again there are always two sides to a coin, some sugar to balance the salt

the platform does have perks, people mingle and find comfort

they interact and make friends, though that requires a lot of effort

but what do i know , thats just me and my thoughts

Here is my 30 cents worth (maybe even literally depending on how much voting power I have left when I upvote & reesteem you in a moment). It can be disheartening spending time writing a long comment or post and receiving no upvotes but take a look at the number of views your post or comment has and you often feel better. Don't give up, keep making the effort and you will be rewarded. It just takes time like & effort like everything else worthwhile in life.

haha thanks, was just wondering if am the only one with these thoughts :)
