Hmm, if you send 1 SBD you should receive for example: 1.8 upvopte and 0.1 SBD should be refunded.
Maybe you're referring to the STEEM price drop, which made the old upvotes lower (value of all posts got lower). Sadly @tipU has no control over it :(
I think that's probably the problem, because I got 200% upvote and in a few days it dropped just like STEEM price :(
