Hi, Ned. We thank you all for this beautiful video. Turks also use active steemit.com. I want to translate this video into Turkish and share it with them. Will you let me. Thanks Steemers :) @ned @ruwan

Of course.

Would love to be your VP of Product for creative and rebuild your UI. I’ve been polling the user base with great ethnographic research and iterations to improve your UI you should check out my Redesign series

hello @ned
i will like to secure a smart media token with the name JETCOIN JTC for the steemjet community

Hi, SMT can be completely independent of STEEM influence or it is?

They can? How would that work on DEX? I couldn't find anything about it on white paper. I might be (most likely) blind :/

You guys are doing great job by the way. I'm really proud to be a part of this revolution.

Many ways. One would be to launch the SMT and drop tokens on all steemians except for whales. Then all steemians other than whales control that SMT’s rewards.

How do you distinguish accounts that are whales if they are divided up between hundreds of accounts?

Blockchain my friend get familiar.

second part of the question: who does your hair? haha

joke aside, that's really good. and so there will be many more ways too. thanks for elaborating. I'm trying to pitch it to one of the biggest software&tech news portal in my country. Already mentioned steem and steemit a bit over the phone (used to work there as content manager) but now I should definitely mention SMTs aswell.

I'm glad I'm not the only who's noticed his hair game is on point! Bahaha.

There are many whales (such as badger) who don't hold all their steem power in one account. The type of airdrop ned describes is easily gamed and prone to sibil attacks.

Agreed! That’s why u need me to build an effective loyalty program

Nice, I like that idea.

Is there a possibility that the value of Steem will be affected? If yes, what will that effect have on the rest of the Steem economy, including the SMT's within it?

The second half of page 56 in the SMT Whitepaper and all of page 57 explore this:

Thanks for the SMT Whitepaper Ned. thanks for all you do.

HAHA @ned thanks my friend.

@ned sent and hopefully response soon. Thanks so much for reaching out

can you appreciate my efforts regarding to entertain with the most effective content @ned?

@ned, I'd like you to answer on my questions related with SMTs.

It's true many CMS owners are interesting to the SMTs. And there are many kinds of content like text, images, videos and so on.
Actually in most of STEEM based social networks like steemit.com, busy.org and many others, they accept text, images and videos as a publishable content.
I heard SMTs can be integrated with CMS which content type is fixed like "title", "content" and so on.
But there could be a customized content which can be a kind of binary data and parsed by only developers, not readable by users directly.

If we have a content sharing system which content is a kind of binary data and we want to apply a rewarding system using SMTs, can we customize the posting content?

For example, if we run the 3D arts sharing site which content is 3D data and can be read and rendered by only our own 3D engine and we want to integrate the exact same rewards pool like steemit.com, then can we use SMTs-based token?

And when will SMTs (even beta version) be launched?

And SMTs whitepaper is enough to understand how to launch SMTs-based token, but we still need the more detailed documentation how we will integrate on our own desktop application and sites. Is there any beta version of documentation to explain how to use a test token on our site? It will help us publishing our site as soon as you publish SMTs.

I apologize for the negative comment in the past. You seem to be a good guy Ned, so I trust in your vision of this platform. My two moments of kissing ass, because I apologize. Was a dumb comment, as you obviously work your tail off so that everyone here can succeed, hence the existence of steemit. You do a great job and I will continue to persuade real life flesh and blood humans to join this potential life changing platform.

SMT's are a great concept, bringing even more weight to the idea of "decentralization of power''. Even for someone new to this platform, relatively speaking. Once all my local friends realize this platforms full potential and join, (a lot have but are still in the waiting list or lost in limbo for weeks.. needs fixed) even I could create an SMT for my friends only if I wanted. (I think that's how they work.)

Regardless, keep up the good work, nice to have a face to a name.
