Finally here, you can now place a banner on your Steemit wall. When someone will visit your blog page, they will be greeted by a banner which you can design by your own or pickup one from which is not copyrighted.
How to?
Simply to go to the settings page and you will see a new field which has appeared with the label 'Cover Image url'.
Put the link of your image and click save. It will be changed instantaneously.!
CAUTION: Since we cannot choose which part of the image will be displayed in the banner area, high resolution images are recommended and also it will require some trial and error before getting the perfect one.

now if they could make the search results a little nicer with many more features ...... but its a start lol ....
and its is still in beta mode ....but nice to see positive changes though..
I guess many new features are in the pipeline and since it is in beta, there are not many core developers on it.
I believe that many new features will be available sooner once the beta phase is over.
ya steemit has great huge potential ....its nice to see it grow even in little ways ....
We are getting the chance to see a platform building up from the early days. A bit like how Facebook was in the initial dev stages.
If the Steemit movie ever comes out, we will be part of that movie! We know first-hand how it was like during the beta phase.
