Yes this "Tags" are very important for your post in steemit..!
Many people here spend lots of time and post good contents, articles, blogs, stories, photography, arts and etc, but they are not thinking and not worried about "tags" while publishing or posting, that is the mistake what many people do. Because of this mistake, their good articles or blogs won't become more popular or won't get more votes or view count.
Tags have many useful purposes in the blog post and there are simple solutions for how to use these tags. even the "Title" also a very impotent part in the community. May be new steemers or newbies might find this post useful to help increase followers, votes and view count on their posted blogs.
Tags are good directional tools for blogs. According to your contents tags, more people read or view your blog as per the searching keywords which people use.
Friends tags are very important to a blog or post in steemit. So use the suitable and correct tags for your contents or blogs that can boost your post in the community.
The popular tags are very useful and more important for a blog or post that will help to make your post more popular or visibility.
Example-01. if you write "travel experience" post you can use tags: travel(main category), life, blog, steem(popular), steemit(popular)
Example-02. if you are posting your "painting" so you can use tags: painting (main category), art, drawing, life(popular), blog(popular)
In steemit we have only 5 tags limits.
