This is my 12th day on steemit and in my first 10th days I did my homework and I saw that it was recommended to read, comment a lot and post each day, and I did that reading, responding and upvoting to a lot of posts on steemit. It is working and I thank every person who left those posts to us the new people here on the platform, but in my 11th day I was feeling burned out and I searched the site for advice and the best strategy to rest and what I found was people leaving posts of pausing temporary or forever from steemit for what it seemed to me like typical cases of burnout. It is now my time to give advice to you on how to avoid burnout.

Rest for one day a week
How can I rest one day a week when I have seen that you should post every day because being always active is really great for the platform? Well, you should post at least one post a day, but in order to achieve this and also avoid burnout simply write an additional post on the evening or between your free time of the day before you take a rest from steemit, save it as a draft and leave it, and at the time you normally post just click post, and keep on enjoying your free day.

Write about different topics each day
We all write about things we like, but always writing about the same stuff can cause burnout, we can maybe change things around, maybe one Sunday posting something different or having days for specific topics. If you do, you can get refresh and feel like a good change of pace.

Have fun
If you do something and you are not having fun it's very easy to get burnout, don't just be here to make money, be here because it is fun and interesting reading the thoughts of other people from all around the world, and at the same time being a forum for your own thoughts to be read by others.
I hope these pieces advice were able to help you avoid burnout. I just want to reciprocate the same help other people have offered me in the site, with a little advice on my own, in a topic that might seem a little lost in the shuffle.

Thank you for reading
I definitely enjoyed reading this post and you are so right; coming here daily lead to a burn-out.
I havent personally experienced it, but my cousin who's been here konger has and I remember her taking a week-long break from the site when it happened.
I have learnt from her experience and so I've decided ti take thing slow and go at a pace that works for me.
Thanks for your comment, and yes it can be daunting to new users like us here. I'm glad that you found it helpful.
You'll do fine, keep at it and when you feel like you need a break, just take as long as you need. Steemit will still be here :) Good luck on your journey here!
Thanks for commenting! and for your wishes!
