LEADERSHIP AND CHANGE

in #steemit5 years ago

Leadership has been and is very essential in the development of nations. It has played maximum roles in global trajectories of development and undoubtedly share in the blame of the failures of successive governances, cooperate firm, society and the self-life. Cross country classism exists because of diverse view of leadership and the approaches to leadership demanding responsibilities. It is a subject that has not been clearly defined, it has been wrongly redefined and less practiced even on the basis as it is defined. Society has come to accept that after their needs are met within the plans of leadership they are free to compromise.

I agree with Leo Tolstoy that “Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks of changing himself”. Leaders have caused a hell of a havoc on society because they proposed a change of society at the neglect of their selfish and immature lives that combats their vision. The first point of change in the live of every leader should be a change of life, attitude, decision, choice and words. No one loves change. Whatever shakes our intrinsic selfish nature becomes difficult admit. Believe it or not, the World and what we have seen, what are seeing is full of the changing efforts of people towards improvement. This current postmodern era has seen advancement in the last 30 years than developments that occurred over 500 years backwards. To effectively work hard and bring the best in you for your community, be the reference point for Change.

Live each day in quest of a disciplined life as one you don’t love it. Consciously succumb to growth of mind, improvement of status, excellent human relation, respect for people at the peril of yourself. The student Leader is the friend of everyone. Be multifaceted to embrace and welcome the very people you are serving. BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR PURSUIT OF CHANGE. Set daily goals, weekly goals, quarter of a year goals, half a year goals and year goals. Develop and effective monitoring and evaluation system to monitor your progress. Constantly assess your failures and strength and work hard towards that change. A decision to change is no mans friend. Make it a choice and one your proud to pursue. Have the recognition for success and keep growing.

Watch out for part 2.
