It's been one month since I joined the Steemit network, and my intrigue for the platform continues to grow. As I continue to learn the ins and outs of Steemit, I want to continually be reviewing and analyzing my efforts in order to identify what's working and where I can be making improvements. I'm taking a slow and steady approach to growing my efforts and as I do so, I'd love to hear input from others relating to their Steemit journey, regardless if you're a Steemit noobs like me, or a Steemit expert.
Here's a quick glance at my Steemit activities and progress for my first month:

Number of Blog Posts: 18
Upvotes Earned: 71
Comments Received: 60

Estimated Account Value: $6.88
My goal was to post 2-4 articles per week, which I exceeded, and I'm fairly pleased with the results I've seen to date. I expected this to be a slow and steady process in order to get the ball rolling, grow my following and create a thriving community. My posts seem to be gaining visibility, and are averaging 2-3 upvotes and comments per post. As seen above, all these efforts have grown my 'estimated account value' to $6.88. How did your monthly stats compare to mine for your first month on Steemit?
As I look to make further progress in the month ahead, my goal will remain to post 2-4 posts per week, upvote/comment/resteem interesting articles, and to find other like-minded people to connect with. My primary areas of focus will continue to be:
- Aerial Filming/Photography
- Cryptocurrency
- Branding/Social Media
- Family/Life
- Business/Entrepreneurship
- Sports/Golf
To date I haven't made any monetary investment into the Steemit platform, as I wanted to experience the organize growth for the first month. As I move into month 2, I'm going to make a small investment of $100 to see what kind of effect that has on my engagement.

I just like to comment a lot and I also have spent quite a bit of my time doing that. Sometimes my comments are useless and add nothing to the post but still... :D
