Many investors were impacted by this. The cryptocurrency community has been affected dramatically. The word should be spread about this class action lawsuit to those affected. I resteemed and will let anyone affected know about the lawsuit.

Goodluck with that you wont get any money back for years and whats left will be such a small fraction of the value it wont be worth it.
It won't take anything to join in a class action lawsuit. If no lawsuit, then the founders would get away with investors money. With a lawsuit, If anyone gets tied up for years, it will be Bitconnect founders. Let's not let them get away with it and make sure that they never get an opportunity to do any business again.
They will be going after all assets from the corporation as well as the personal assets of the individual founders.
It'll be an interesting case for sure. Does anybody know who the real people behind Bitconnect are?

Seems the only people that are publicly known are the folks pushing the affiliate signups on YouTube.
They will be going after all founders and will use the open source ledger to track bank accounts.

Everybody is happy until the platform disappears... we all knew it would eventually happen. We all knew they paid out in BCC tokens. We all knew there was risk. We all knew not invest more money than we would lose.. if you got into Bitconnect, you played and lost unless you took your money before this. Personally i dont think anybody can be too upset about it. We have seen these things happen before. Invest only what you are willing to lose. Everybody knew the rules going into Bitconnect. They pay in BCC and then you convert to BTC. We all knew this.
I got burned, not as badly as those who dropped large sums like 5k+ . Would like to get back $$ and prevent them from profiting from BitconnectX

Uhh it was an obvious scam and people were screaming about this since it began. Just go to any broker and ask for guaranteed daily returns on any investment and see what they say. It's ridiculous to think such a pyramid scheme is sustainable and sad that people will fall for an old trick repackaged in new tech, when the underlying fundamentals were no different from a chain letter. Sorry, but I kind of hope this doesn't go far. Don't need any more negative press leading to governmental overreach in this space.
