    Please check if you've got the latest wallet software. 2.4.0 will be required for it to work.

    Thanks, I downloaded the 2.2 version from the website and it asked me to upgrade to the 2.3 version after first run. It looks like there is no dmg-package for 2.4.0 yet, at least I can't find it.

      Got it ;-) The mistake was, that I switched to German language first, which brought me to https://byteball.org/index.html.de containing the outdated download.
