Sometimes we find ourselves questioning God in our sub consciousness, why he allows us to suffer, why he let our loved ones die when he could have easily averted it. We’ve been all hurt to various intensity either by being deceived, personally ill-treated, taken advantage of, losing a job, getting accused falsely, suffering through illness, losing a loved one and lots more, the list may be endless. Sometimes we may show up in church just to keep up appearances or fulfill a regular routine.
If you’ve been let down by the fact that God approved you to suffer as you have, I know you must be very unhappy and offended and possibly angry but you need to let God of the hook. I honestly don’t believe that God is to blame for doing anything wrong. So the question is why then do we need to forgive God?
• You need to forgive God because of the inner peace and freedom you’ll get. I believe that if we don’t let go of the hurt and forgive God, it’ll have an adverse effect on our relationship with people. We may find it hard to forgive others and get so embittered which drains your personality
• Because of what it’ll do for Him. It’ll please God because he rejoices in our freedom.

 It’s totally okay to yell, scream if you can, breakdown and cry. Just pour it all out, let out all the anger and be sincere about it. Go ahead and tell him your complaint.
 Proceed to making a list of the things you’re really grateful for, you’d be surprise that the list maybe endless. Don’t forget things could have been worse than the situation at hand.
 Fight against self-pity and the feeling of entitlement because it only promote bitterness which gets us nowhere
 Don’t you forget that God has a purpose in what he has permitted. Just let it go.

How you’d know if you’ve really forgiven God

• When you begin to enjoy inner peace and joy. fun-cold-elegance-face-41208.jpeg
• When you’ve decided to trust and praise God completely despite the situation. Job should be your hero as he said “though he slays me. Yet will I trust in him (Job 13: 15, KJV). Job said these words during the greatest tribulation of his life. And his breakthrough which finally came was worth the waiting for.
• When you’re relationship with God gets better.
It’s crazy hard though but forgive God, forgive the friend who betrayed you, forgive the ex, forgive the mum/dad that was never there, and forgive yourself. Pursue inner peace. Pursue joy. You don't deserve any less. Tell Him you forgive Him and have a good laugh at who is really forgiving who. Remember that forgiveness is a conscious choice. When you make that choice to forgive you’re on your way to having a real good life.
