The backside have information about the ink cartridge, the pen is able to write in extreme temperatures, underwater, at any angle(without gravity). The ink will not dry out in 100 years. The ink is driven out by the nitrogen gas inside the cartidge, therefore it can write on any surface without failure.
To take the pen out, simply slide the inner box forward.
Then pull the front tap up. You will see the pen is pushed, but is fine since the ink wont dry out soon(100 years they claim).
Pull the pen out from the straps, it is very secure so no need to worry about it being damaged during shipping.
Lastly, the pen consists of three parts: the ink cartridge, the lower half with the spring and the top part with the push mechanism. The lower half with the spring and the top part with the push mechanism is locked, which means nothing will fall out even if you shake the parts. This is an advantage compare to other pens, since disassemble and reassemble is extremely easy, and small parts like spring and the push mechanism wont be lost easily as well.
