Change to our trail votes!

This is to inform our users that we have finished trying the variable voting for our trailing members. We have decided to revert back to the previous method, in which, all above average bids will receive the same vote strength from our Frontrunners.

This decision was based on maximizing our Frontrunners Voting Power so that they can receive the most curation possible without any idle time.

Thank you all for your support. We will continue to look for new options to implement while continuing to provide a great service. Steem on friends!

Second attempt to get your attention on this one:

Errors became more often, disregards by you became more often and refunds became a harder task.

The above post has both the bot and Frontrunner votes... I can’t help you if there isn’t a problem. The Steem API has been acting up the last couple days so I have to babysit it more. I always make things right so I would appreciate a little better tone as I have never scammed anyone or attempted to wrong anyone. Thanks

Funny thing is most of the bots run the same code. The auto refunds work for posts that are too old, bid is too low, or the url is invalid. I will check into it. You have to pay more attention with your double bids, it’s becoming more frequent.

My double bids did become more frequent, and it happened to me with other bots too, but with them it was a non-issue, because I was immediately automatically refunded.
I promise you that your code is not the same as the newer generation bots.
It is much more similar to how buildawhale used to be, or still is, I stopped using it months ago once he declared 'no refunds' and did some bad retroactive confiscations.
He never confiscated from me and always refunded me, but this is because I left him in time.

honestbot, greengrowth, pwrup, adriatik, whalebuilder, dolphinbot, oceanwhale, upyou, upme and others all use similar codes, with the differences being in policy only, like some upvote comments and some do not, and each has its own deadline and limits and other attributes like minimal bid, maximal bid, maximal capacity, round forwarding (which I dislike) or lack of it, and more properties.
I think they all use yabapmatt's Javascript code as their core, not inertia's drotto's Ruby On Rails (or is it Python?) code.
Booster and randowhale are/were also very decent in their refunds policy.
I thought Minnowbooster was safe to use, until I encountered one case of blatant quantitative thievery by it, which did went unanswered once the victim addressed it in front of them, so I stopped using minnowbooster since I saw it.
Some true scammers use perfectly honest codes, BTW, and most of them I did not mention in this comment.
Even one that was, stopped scamming, at least for the last 2-3 weeks.
Scams by owners/delegators are usually hard to detect.
For the record you refunded me this time.

Thanks. Yes it’s inertia’s code base. Whatever isn’t automated I try to offer manually. Thanks for the support and feedback... just try not to be so harsh with your approach. You know I provide an honest service and do my best to improve the service to fit the users needs.

edit: Too late. Now it is a request for a refund.

This was my comment in its original form:
I sent you 0.1 over 5 minutes ago, and got no frontrunners.
There are still 36 minutes until voting time, but it is urgent due to other reason.

If you can automate refunds on double sends, why put customers into stress and worries? and do it manually yourself?

I want to thank you for your support. What is the maximum amount you accept? If less than 0.75, then I ask you to tell a respectable, like you, comrade. Interested in the possibility of voting, as you have up to 6 days inclusive. So, that you and he would go out into the dollar with a penny. It is possible more. Thank you in advance!

Hello, currently the code does not prohibit a maximum amount. However, you should look at the expected upvote payout based on the bots current Steem Power. You probably see the best payouts when bidding is low for a round and you bid at least 0.1 SBD to receive additional votes. Remember, no payout amount is guaranteed and it fluctuates with the price of STEEM as well as the amount of competition for bids. Thank you

Do you accept amounts above one dollar? If yes, the issue is resolved.

Yes, but I wouldn’t advise a bid that high.

How much is optimal and attractive)) for the voters?

When steemcondenser votes before another member, it reduces the curation rewards of the other member exponentially, while contributing nothing to steemcondenser's rewards which it does not claim anyway, and if it did, it would have made no difference to anyone, except adding another unersable record to the blockchain.

I’m not sure why you are bothered by this so much? You aren’t signed up as a Frontrunner. To be clear, the vote order has the smallest influence on curation. The more important factors are the time at which you vote and the voting power of those that come after you. The main idea is to have the Frontrunners to vote before the bot does. This method is much higher than doing trail voting (voting after a larger account). Being a Frontrunner is the #1 method to maximizing curation, hands down.

I want to increase your frontrunners' profits because they get very little, and you should care more than I do.
With Minnowbooster's vote renting, frontrunning for curation became obsolete as a form to earn passive income here, so to be fair with them, they should get more, because even if their curation rewards would be maximized, they will still not get close to what minnowbooster offers them.
I already suggested sharing a part of each round's revenues with them, and the new minnowbooster vote renting method, had it been done in a honest manner, would have been even better in some cases, and I have more improvement suggestions, they would still get far less than renting their vote to minnowbooster.
I also try to improve my knowledge about curation rewards.
I read curation rewards exponentially decline during the first 5 votes regardless of the time, and keep decreasing in a slower rate after the first 5 votes, so the order matters more than you claim.
If you refer to the 30 minutes period during which author rewards linearly eat at curation rewards, it is true too.

I am also bothered by the order of votes on posts.
For example, today I bid earlier and at a larger sum than the other bidder, and he got voted first.
This is the common case with this bot, and I see plenty of the newer generation bots already implement vote by order of bid.
Some also implement a limit on maximal bid size with automatic refund, and it prevents the mess of refunding once an entire vote cycle had already been done.
At least one bot implements a limit on the total amount of bids as well.
I also suggest automatic reward claiming every 2.4 hours and when VP reaches 99.97%.

Actually the later you wait in the first 30 mins is better for the voters curation.

The bot vote order affect on rewards is negligible. I will check if this feature is being implemented anytime soon.

I try to claim rewards often. I could run a bot to auto claim but it’s effects are negligible as the Frontrunners reduce the bots curation by a lot. I will check the VPS load and maybe run an autoclaim. Currently there is not a maximum bid feature and I doubt it will be implemented as most other bot owners prefer the larger bids and don’t offer refunds. There are a few newer features that I’m looking to implement like accepting Steem for bids. I also inquired about making a vote profit sharing bot but there isn’t enough demand for one by other owners.

Actually the later you wait in the first 30 mins is better for the voters curation.

This is what I meant

The bot vote order affect on rewards is negligible. I will check if this feature is being implemented anytime soon.

It is being implemented in the following bots:
greengrowth (a scam which happens to be beneficial to use at times), pwrup, whalebuilder, thebot, therising (which is a scam which is almost never benefiial to use), and most newer generation bots you can find on yabapmatt's JS mining website with "open source code" whih is either not the one being implemented, or it changed without notification like he did with therising.
The most honest bot is honestbot, ran in cooperation with yabapmatt ironically, and it even has a limit on its total bids.
I think it stands at 0.6 or 0.55 per round, with a 0.5 limit on a single vote.
I calculated, and at least recently it does yield a guaranteed positive ROI.
thebot promises positive ROI too, and employs a mostly superior script to yours.
Your service is still one of the best overall, but in terms of software implementation is not among the most decent and neither among the most efficient for itself anymore.

Most newer generation bots claim their rewards at first opportunity, which is wrong and inefficient as well, but at least promises maximal SP at use.
Their vast majority are superior to your bots in terms of software implementation in most aspects, but most of them are scams.
Once in a while a scam yields a very good ROI, greengrowth is the best example for it, and even greengrowth automatically refunds bids above a certain amount.

Due to exponential decline in curation rewards during the first 5 votes, the ordering between the frontrunners matters a lot.
I do not suggest to fix their order, just to retire steemcondenser which does much more harm than good:
to other frontrunners, to the blockchain, and for viewers of steemd.com, and using such no power accounts elongates the duration of the frontrunning. And it does not affect reputations.
Suppose, the 15SP accounts are beneficial, arguably they are not, but steemcondenser is a complete menace. Not good even for its own growth.

Thanks for the feedback... I think it was mainly positive..? Whatever the case, my goal is to provide an honest service to my users, always.

If you automatically refunded, I would have paid for upvoting another comment now.
As it is, I skip using steemdiffuser on some comments, partially because it votes every 2.4 hours, which is how it should be, but I can not use it every time, because I need to sleep and at times there are additional reasons.

Greetings, I have noticed several times that I have sent you money but I have not received any votes or refunds, the last round is an example of that, I think you should check your code.

Good afternoon! There is a question, I see that there is a very big difference in the rise, from 100%, and say up to 3%, what is the reason for this? How to plan a cost part? If I cry for something, I want to see the result, not some part of it. I am pleased to work with you, but let's somehow settle this matter, I do not want to change horses on the ferry)) Today, three payments to you have left.

The demand for the bot changes daily. The price of STEEM also fluctuates so this causes your reward value to fluctuate. Also, if you bid 0.1 SBD or higher then you may get additional votes from our trail members. Let me k ow if you have any additional questions.

Good afternoon! I mistakenly sent a link which 6 days, I did not see the sign "less" in the description of services, the question would be solved, or send another link? How to proceed?
