I don't believe you you are a recovering addict.
Recovering alcohol addicts don't advise people to get drunk.
Your life is yours to steer whichever way you want, of course. I only know from my experience of a compulsive gambler that if I ever touch gambling again, I'll probably fall right back in the dark place of seeking that amazing rush from winning. We aren't all equal , so if you have the will power to drink and not relapse ... I just would hate for you to fall into the darkness .
