I Made A MINI STEEMIT WORLD In My Car! Plus Bonus: Business Ideas For Minnows Who Are Not Writers

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

image0ec7a.jpg

Here's the mini steemit world shown in video:

I've been working for 3 days on a miniature Steemit world on the dash in my car.

My mind operates on a symbolic system whose foundation is largely unconscious. The Steemit world, as I will describe to you illustrates this kind of semi-conscious approach. Of course dolphins and whales don't have eggs, and don't hatch, but in my mini Steemit world, they do. What I describe below is from my fantasy idea of Steemit, based only on personal whim. I used Air Dry Clay to create the eggs and I painted them with acrylics. I bought all these art supplies with Steem Dollars (thank you Steemit).

image3c6cd.jpg
This is a whale egg.

There are many whale eggs in Steemit right now and they are actually small fish, but inside of them exists this whale egg.

When they will hatch into whales, no one knows. The future whales are characterized by an intense desire to power up instantly. They have studied the Steemit ecosystem, the whitepaper (and maybe translated it into a foreign language) and have read Dan Larimer's blog. These whale eggs have come to the natural conclusion that Steem and Steemit are worthwhile, revolutionary endeavors. @laonie is a perfect example of this whale egg. Actually, he became a dolphin really fast. He also has quite a bit of black swan in him because he invested a large amount of his own money and has been a leader in many ways.

image4a829.jpg
These four eggs are: 3 dolphin eggs and one black swan egg.

Let me explain a bit more:

Dolphin eggs also can exist within minnows.

Like the whale eggs, no one knows when they will hatch. Future dolphins are characterized by their passion, persistence and originality. They may not have a lot of their own money to invest, but they invest a lot of their time because they also believe in the positive and revolutionary qualities of Steemit. They do not power up immediately, but play it a bit safer, and power up later once their immediate financial needs have been met. As they learn more and more, they begin to power up, gaining more and more rewards.

Black swan eggs are rare.

They are the rarest of all. A black swan might be among us, but perhaps no one will notice them for a long time. But when you finally notice them, they have already built a castle and are inviting you for a sharkfin dinner. A minnow who contains a black swan egg inside, may soon realize that blogging is saturated with too much competition. A black swan will begin to study https://bytemaster.github.io/ in depth. A black swan will understand that the whales would rather spend their SBD, and not convert any of their funds to fiat. A black swan will start to see the emerging marketplace in Steem, and will also understand that Steemit.com is only one branch of a giant Steem tree. A black swan will see that building another webtree, with Steem as the foundation could be way more lucrative and game-changing than sending Stellabelle another recently written blog post via Rocket Chat. But as I mentioned, black swans are super rare. It takes a rare vision to see what is barely visible, or perhaps entirely invisible to the minnows.

image4b98f.jpg
Idea Medusa

The Idea Medusa is where fun, creative, unexpected, profitable ideas reside.

The snakes on her head represent all the possible ideas one has for either a blog post or a business idea within Steemit. The Idea Medusa never lets you down, except when she's full of fear. When she becomes afraid, all of her ideas wither away, and go back inside. Once the fear has lifted, all the idea snakes reemerge and then you can choose one. All the little creatures at the feet of Idea Medusa are the result of the fruition of the ideas. They have turned into little dolphins, jellyfish, sting rays, seals, carp and sea grass.

image6c164.jpg
unicorn and pegasus

The unicorn and pegaus lead the whale carriage.

They are the shepherds of fantastical and revolutionary ideas. They protect and assist the main whale, which is Dan Larimer, with all the necessary work. They also provide their navigation services to ensure that the whale carriage gets to the proper destinations. They are excellent navigators and the leading unicorn can interface with all types of sea creatures, even sharks, giant squid, clams and the dreaded Killer Whales. @cass is of the highly artistic variety, containing both pegasus and unicorn characteristics.

imagec220e.jpg
Whale carriage holds Dan Larimer

The whale carriage is the central hub of energy and logical structure that keeps Steemit together.

Many creatures are dependent upon the whale carriage for their sustenance, security, shelter and survival. There is also usually at least one whale egg nest that resides directly under the whale carriage. It's a future whale being incubated. Many creatures such as lobsters, krill, minnows, seals and rays live on or inside the whale carriage. Crabs and clams attach themselves to the top of the carriage. Killer sharks chase the carriage.

Many whale carriages like those of @smooth and @ned have not yet been built......in days to come I'll build more whale carriages. Their carriages will be large and also will have whale eggs incubating below their carriages.

image106ff.jpg

You probably can't see it, but there are also three creatures trailing the carriage: one dragon, one shark and one snake. These three creatures despise the honest strength of the carriage and don't fully understand the mechanisms by which the carriage functions.

imagef1b03.jpg
3 friends: fully grown walrus, dolphin and sea lion

These 3 sea friends have some of the best seats in the Steemit house.

They are fully grown, which means that they can easily fight off the sharks, eat decent meals and have protection in their respective groups. Some of these can even be whales. They have existed since the early stages of Steemit and are reaping the rewards of being early adopters. They are a very social, friendly bunch, and humble too. They can be silly, of course, as well, and they are usually in good spirits. They are more curious than afraid, more grateful than greedy. Some examples of these fully grown creatures are @teamsteem, @dana-edwards, @roedandp, @fyrstikken, @tuck-fhemen, @klye, @mummyimperfect, @rok-sivante, @infovore, @heiditravels and many many more.

image04e98.jpg
whales swimming around jewel-studded rock

Some whales prefer to stay together, swimming around their rocks. Some of these more remote whales are cyber whales, with their insides constructed of artificial hearts. Some of these are programmed to detect spam and plagairism, while others are just programmed to suck up upvote particulates from the water. They are a part of the ecosystem, but they don't have much to do with the social aspect of Steemit life. The bigger sea creatures sometime revile them, and reduce their reputation. The Steemit krill, minnows and fully growns wish all of the cyber whales could be programmed with smarter, more useful programs. The cyber whales are trying various programs, experimenting at this stage.

imageaf766.jpg
sea lions

These are sea lions who are happy to be circling around one jewel. This pair arrived in Steemit together, as a couple. They are content to coexist and they do not long to become dolphins or whales. They are helpers and they keep the abuse to a minimum inside of Steemit. They are fact-checkers, and they have high ideals for society. They look out for the smaller creatures, the krill and the other micro fish, the plankton. They make sure that no one is imprisoning these tiny creatures. These sea lions are the future walruses.

There are of course some creatures that have yet to be identified. They seem to be of an ethereal, genius vapor that exists in an invisible, yet highly essential form. @theoretical is one such genius vapor, seldom seen in physical identity form, but whose deeds exist in physical reality. @dana-edwards is another one of these ethereal creatures. She exists in multiple forms, however, as does @complexring who inhabits many different shapes and identities. And of course, there are the black void viruses who make their presence known too often, and they infect others.

BONUS BUSINESS IDEAS FOR MINNOWS AND KRILL

Blogging is getting oversaturated and there are many people in Steemit who are not passionate writers. But everyone can have a place in Steemit and everyone can make money and earn rewards. For minnows who are not into writing, there are many opportunities which only need to be exploited.

Here are a list of ideas that you can start on TODAY to make money TODAY in Steemit:

1. Become a Steemit expert by studying the Whitepaper and Steemit Help.

Then, everyday, go on Steemit not to post content, but to answer newbie's questions. Challenge yourself: "How many people can I help today?"
Here's your counter question: "But how can I make money?"
Here's my answer: By helping Luke of WeAreChange with his question yesterday, I made about $130 on only a comment. A COMMENT, NOT A POST. See example here.

2. Create a Micro Magazine that focuses on one topic like Anarchism, Art, Business Ideas, etc.

Each week, compile all the best blog posts into your Weekly Best of Anarchism Magazine. Do interviews that go deeper into your chosen subject. We need micro magazines for all kinds of topics. @infovore is successfully doing this with his SteemMag. Just study what he's doing, and do your own micro magazine in your area of passion.

3. The whales want to spend SBD instead of converting them into fiat. DOH! Money to be made here......

Everyone of us has certain expenses that require fiat money: groceries, toiletries, etc. I would much rather get my basic needs met by using SBD instead of converting them. I also hate shopping. If I could get toilet paper delivered to my house using SBD instead of dollars, I'd sign up for that. I'm not a great example though because I only buy necessities and art supplies. I don't spend much money. I'm curious about what services the whales need but currently don't have via SBD. ATTENTION WHALES: What Things Can Minnows Provide To You As A Steemit Service? So, an idea to get more information about this is to create a questionnaire that pinpoints what types of businesses would be needed right now. Do interviews with the whales to narrow down a few options.

4. Commenting in order to encourage others.

Commenting is one of the most obvious things in Steemit that few pay attention to. Right now there is a massive amount of people writing, and getting zero dollars and zero responses. Challege yourself one day and say, "How many quality comments can I make on others' posts?" After you do this, make notes about the fascinating things you learned in one day. Then write up a blog post about how many lives you touched and what you learned. That's an instant success blog post waiting to happen. I have plans to do this myself, but go ahead, steal my idea. I actually stole this idea from @roelandp. He's an idea machine, but people have long forgotten about his post anyway. Commenting your ass off will result in your reputation score going up, which will then in turn result in more influence, and soon you'll notice that people with lower reputation will be seeking you out.

5. Make drunk videos.

I'm planning on starting a series called DRUNK WRITER / SOBER WRITER.
I write a post and ask people for questions that I will answer sober, then answer drunk. I video record myself, and then composite them together. Each question is answered sober and drunk. I was thinking of doing this as DRUNK ORACLE / SOBER ORACLE and taking people's deeper, more philosophical questions. I'm doing this next weekend. Or maybe, DRUNK BUSINESS STEEMIT IDEAS / SOBER BUSINESS STEEMIT IDEAS. Hey, if you want to do your own, and steal my ideas, go for it.

6. Use your own dreamworld to create your next business idea.

I use fantasy and semi-conscious dreaming to create business ideas. I do this like every day. Forget about money for a second, what sounds fun to you? I bet if you think it's fun, more will too. FUN=MONEY.
My best advice is to do what is fun (as long as you don't hurt other people.) Steemit is waiting for your original idea.

7. Make Robot Whales.

If anyone has an ability to make robots, I think there might be a good market to make cyber whales. Actually, you could make cyber dolphins, seals, and other sea creatures using robotics. I'd entertain buying one, especially if I could use Steem to pay for it. A lot of us in here have kids, so making toys for them could be something lucrative and fun.

ps- I'll be giving away more creative Steemit business ideas in an upcoming Steemit Mag called, STEAL THESE IDEAS, PLEASE.

Beautiful, simply beautiful .. in a strange Steemit way :)

I am sorry but I have to ask. Don't be mad at me :)

Did you make all these figurines by yourself? And then glued them to the dashboard and all other places? Amazing.

Just sitting in your car must be an experience by itself :)

I can see that you are in touch with the universe. Steemitverse in this case.

Alpha level comes to mind.

OK, enough of flattery.

Thank you for all your suggestions and ideas. And your allegories are to the point.

Niche magazines, Yes. I like it.

I completely forgot to add the video in when I wrote my post. Here it is:

yes, i used gorilla glue. it's stable, but it also can be peeled off if i change my mind.

I only made the Steemit eggs. I did paint part of the Idea Medusa but all the tiny and bigger creatures were purchased. I doubt I have the patience to create all those sea creatures.

:) Patience is overrated.

Still extremely cool putting this Steemit model together.

There is a phrase that's rolling through my mind in the last days. It fits perfectly to your creation. Creative adaptation :)

some great ideas there stellabelle ooh I've been working on filming my crochet makes maybe i should offer to sell them. everyone here says i should sell my work.

sell it. see what happens. That's the easiest and fastest way to learn what works.

👍amazing work @stellabelle

thanks for saying so!

@stellabelle thank you, inspired by this post i had a brainstorming session with the family and we spent the last couple of days turning what was going to be a simple time lapse crochet make into a stop motion sea life animation. I hope you don't mind me dropping the link here https://steemit.com/steemit/@phoenixmaid/steemit-s-first-time-lapsed-crochet-mini-movie-video

now getting drunk... wait for it....

Damn it! I didn't mean for you to steal my post! Fuck! You're going to beat me to a $2k post........

It is dangerous for health, let's I'll take care of this?

What an elaborate and detailed setup. Very clever. Also, your ideas listed here will potentially help hundreds, if not thousands. Now it is up to us minnows to act. I personally see myself as a number 4. I have never blogged nor written anything of substance, but this suggestion sounds like it is right up my alley. I love to help and encourage, it just feels good. Thanks for these great ideas.

Helping and encouraging is how my reputation was created. In early days of Steemit, I spent like 5 hours per day commenting while everyone else was bickering over rewards system. I knew what was coming in the future of Steemit: the marketplace. I knew that friends do business with friends. I sought out people I trusted and also saw the potential in every person. Some people need ideas, others need encouragement. I tried to adjust my responses based on others' needs. Now I'm at a point where I see that Steemit needs ideas for minnows more than anything else, because the average newbie has no idea about the future, and what's ahead. They don't see that blogging is only one part of the Steem universe. Awareness must be made or else, I see Steemit as a place for massive frustration, and possibly failure for mass adoption. This is a crucial need right now, I sense this urgency.

This made me smile.

I like the symbolism and analogues you use to describe the different people and users.

The more important question is - how do you drive your car without destroying this little world you have created?

You also make some great points about how people can contribute. I think we have already started to see this in the tremendous expansion of what people are doing with the platform. I am constantly amazed by the tools people are producing on Steemtools.com - just amazing and I wish I had those skills (maybe someday).

Also the robot whale thing was discussed a few days ago by @jl777 - he was thinking of something that votes using partial automation so that it is under partial human control - bit like a multisig wallet but one sig is held by the bot one by the human. I don't have the link to hand but he can explain it better himself - he is often in the #witness chat channel.

As for SBD business - I actually got an idea of the potential yesterday when I was posting about a talented artist I know @galamirissa she makes beautiful animated gifs out of any piece of photography and paintings etc.

Someone suggested in the comments that they would like to get their own photos and avatar animated this way and that others would probably like this too. This could easily be done in SBD and the apparatus is there for someone like Gala to start doing it already. Doing the same with bitcoin would not be as easy and would require a lot of extra work on her behalf.

Anyway the potential is only just starting to be realised.

Also thanks for giving a shout out to @laonie - I can vouch for the fact that he is a really great guy:)

thanks for the @galamirissa mention, and yes, her stuff is great! I added her to follow. Thank you!

Great thanks for doing that.

Unfortunately she has been having a bad time of late. She used art as a means of rehabilitation from a severe illness.

Her work is amazing and when she first posted people were thinking that she was an imposter and flagging her work.

She is not a native English speaker and was having difficulty understanding about verification and what people were saying. (I can also vouch for her now if anyone else asks for verification - I am friends with her on Facebook also).

Sadly I didn't see her first post when all this happened so wasn't able to help in time.

I have tried to coax her back and she has tried making posts but they have sadly been neglected. I will continue to encourage her though because I believe her talent really deserves to be seen. I just hope she hasn't been permanently put off.

I drive the car because all the creatures are glued down with gorilla glue. I think people should start sending me the creatures they see themselves as! What do you want to be?

Not sure. Maybe a tiger but I'm not very ferocious and it's not a sea creature? Need to think about it. Anyway it's time for me to go to the gym maybe it will come to me there lol:)

"What do you want to be?" THAT is hilarious @stellabelle ! Good work on the art dash!

Great art dash. I love creative people who expand the view for everyone!

Really great article. You must be a very patient person, I wouldn't be able to create anything mini, since my hands would shake too much.I really like your idea about recording yourself drunk and sober. I look forward to seeing those videos :))) I think you made really good points here, especially about leaving meaningful comments on other posts and also learning something new every day. I think when people concentrate too much on making money, they forget what they are passionate about. Anyone who is just joining the platform should read your magazine for new ideas, I will definitely be checking it out ! Thanks for the inspirational post :) Alla x

I agree. Money confuses people, and even I get a little disappointed when I put a lot of effort into something and it doesn't produce much money. It's a very natural response.....then we have to rethink why we exist, and how to maximize our own gifts, extending those gifts (or gifs) to others..

I agree with you and definitely think its a natural response when things don't go the way you have planned. But I like that you are helping others with ideas who are struggling!

Are we to consider an eventual "Clash of the Titans" is imminent??

"Release the Kraken"!!!

I would guess so, especially when the Zuck watches the hordes migrate to Steemit.
Big stuff is going to happen, if only the minnows could see that blogging is not the final answer...........

:) sorry. but I laughed when I read. This should not be insulting. For the example of small toys to explain big things. Thank you.

toys are an every day occurrence for me. I suspect that I am child pretending to be an adult.
I almost vomit everytime a hospital nurse refers to me as "MOM". Although i gave birth to a child, i am still a child, too.

Wonderful ideas, I must say! I just released #ATMOS Magazine a couple of days back.
The plan is to compile articles just from Steemit. The long term dream is to share it outside of the platform and attract new users to qualitative content.
I would love your input for improving the Magazine (I must admit I'm not an expert, but a fast learner)
Thanks!

i'll take a look, thanks.

"5. Make drunk videos."
Perhaps 'Drunk Gardening" video has some potential ;-) All signs point to YES.

yes, drunk gardening sounds great. I am using the success of the youtuber who created My Drunk Kitchen as inspiration.

@nphacker @agm1984 and I seek to be black swan identifiers with steemiq.me

Also highly recommend @xtester for his writings on black swans and exponential value in relation to Elon Musk.

ok, great! In a nutshell, what is steemiq.me?

The goal of steemIQ is predict the quality of a post. How smart is the content of the post? Right now, you can alpha test out current algorithm. Eventually, we will refine the algorithm to be more fair and accurate, dynamically give users suggestion to improve their writing, and keep a leaderboard as well as add other gamification components to incentivizes better content quality. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/development/@nphacker/steemiq-me-how-smart-is-your-writing-find-out-your-steemiq

Very interesting... It seems like you have created your very own Steem altar....

Have you worked with any magical structures before (wicca/ceremonial/chaos magic/shamanism) or anything similar? Since this uses a lot of concepts from it.

No. I'm not into anything like that. If anything, I just make up a lot of stuff from scratch.
I'm an atheist actually. I don't do anything ritualistic or by design. I only entertain a lot of ideas, that come and go like water. I view life as a stream of water, not anything static.

Well, it sounds like you have a fairly magical worldview anyway. It seems to work for you!

"Many creatures are dependent upon the whale carriage for their sustenance, security, shelter and survival." - I think they call this Capitalism

This is a mini-statement of your mini-Steemit world.hehe sorry had to love your work steemitqueen. Or mamasteemit pick

I had definitely planned on something like idea no 5. I just have to try and get my timing right so I can still function and post/record at the same time!

@stellabelle this is stunning, I especially loved the hands at the end lol.

@mrgrey

All in on 3 and 4. Will do what I can on 1 but don't expect rewards from it. 5 and 7 not my style and not my expertise. 6 is a secret.

surely this is a hazard in the car?! what if they start falling everywhere? id be worried!

they are glued down. Hazard, maybe but I can drive just fine.
The glue is also non-permanent. It can easily be removed.

Life on the wild side?

You mentioned some great ideas in your post. The magazine idea is maybe something for me. However I don't approve the idea of encouraging people to get drunk and write. Getting drunk should never be encouraged.

I know, but people get drunk all the time. Might as well make it into a business idea, instead of just killing brain cells for no good reason.

I like your car art!

Also your business ideas are great for making steem grow and helping earn through value creation and contributions to the #steemitcommunity .

Thanks

Stella, I think you most extraordinary steemian :)

I'm drunk half the time now your telling me I can make money on it? #drunkstories LOL. What I think I do sometimes. THANKS FOR BRINGING ME HERE :) I just do my thing. Fuck Medium.

Magnificent post! Especially the idea Steemit Mag)

Thanks for the ideas! I appreciate your willingness to help new people. You are definitely one of the driving forces that is working hard to keep this community headed in the right direction. There is way too much negativity out there. If this place could remain positive, it would be amazing. And it can. As long as good people stay vigilant.

I heard special Pokemon are only available at the Arctic.
Would someone spend SBD on a Poke-safari to the poles ?
Steal this idea for an upvote :)

Those ideas for the minnows are killer @stellabelle I will definitely try a few and still keep writing and learning. Thanks for great advice! Beautiful Steemit World you created:)

Happy ... Easter ...

ha ha! I have so many to add to the world, you are one!

Lol! So beautiful! Love your blog! ANd vote you))

Looks like it is time to begin to write fairytales with these characters ;) Magical Steemit World!

I bet if someone constructed a cyber whale, they'd make a killing. I wish i knew how to make robots, i'd be on that right now.

Years ago, on a once-popular Doctor Who forum that no longer exists, I wrote an extensive soap opera-esque story in multi-parts, writing a part every day for about a month, using the members of the forum as characters (they all went by their user names in the story). People LOVED it. The forum put it in their permanent archives for people to continue to enjoy. And I got a lot of readership and engagement from people who were reading the story to see what their character would do. Of course, I'd been on the forum a while and had gotten to know the people well enough to make characters out of them. Imagine doing that kind of thing here and actually earning some money for it. It would be fun AND profitable. People love to read about themselves.

Wow! amazing, you must be so patient, I just made a steemit hologram and too a lot of time, this must have taken you quite a bit. Thanks for sharing

only 3 days.

You have everything laid out except the aquarium :).

Thanks for the burst of energy. There was a lot of giving in this post and that's beautiful.

thanks. I'm just getting started. the world might spill out on the exterior of the car in the form of a professional car wrap or something.

jeje... this is the most brilliant and creative I've seen in Steemit! congratulation.

Thanks. It has been building up for a few days, that's for sure! I've been dying to make my current car like my old art car.....i lacked the inspiration until now.

hehe ... I succeed! Congratulations. Upvoted me? plz!

A whale with lasers for eyes, riding a unicorn that lays Steemit eggs. Could be a logo.

OH yeah baby! That sounds really cool and hilarious! Make it!

That's so weird, I totally just saw my own whale egg.

Ha ha!!! Which one are you?

ummm.. whichever grows up to be the biggest and wisest.
So probably the one most think won't make it.

As a newbie, one of the first thing that I noticed that my comments do better than the blogs. Hopefully this will change as I like to write. But at least Steemit is not like my yoga class, where my daughter said that the teacher made the classes harder just to shut me up.

you can do very well by commenting in two ways: creating good will and earning money. I would bet that most people could do better by commenting than writing since it's sooooooo saturated. I did better yesterday in a comment than my two Secret Writer posts combined. What does that say?

I think that it's important to do what you love.Money will come in the long run. I love your setup; so many more creatures than we are accustomed. I can't wait tho see @smooth and @ned carriages.

yes, very true......for some it happens fast, others it takes a very long time. I have worked in obscurity as an artist for many years, like over ten to be exact........

Well I think there is an artist in every one of us.

I loved the preview of your car-altar, but the full thing is magnificent! I love your symbolic thinking and operate similarly (I have put a glass whale somewhere important!). Your bits of advice are actionable and creative, already all over Drunk videos. :P Thank you for the inspiration and the beauty!

ha ha! You're welcome! I am going to be mess drunk, as I really haven't been drunk in like 7 years.

Wow! A lot of inspirational stuff in here. Thanks for all the great ideas - Really appreciate them @stellabelle

Rock on... Thanks for the ideas.. I just signed up today so your ideas are helping open my mind to the possibilities!

Very nice post, I like ur create @stellabelle

Beautiful, your creativity and fantasy are limitless. I can't even understand how someone can look at sea creatures and Steemit and write an amazing story like that.
But anyway...
I always thought you were a past alcoholic for some reason lol. Guess not if you want to do drunken writing haha .

I am a recovering addict, yes, and I never said I would never drink again. I just don't abuse alcohol in the ways I did in the past. Grey areas exist.

I don't believe you you are a recovering addict.

Recovering alcohol addicts don't advise people to get drunk.

Your life is yours to steer whichever way you want, of course. I only know from my experience of a compulsive gambler that if I ever touch gambling again, I'll probably fall right back in the dark place of seeking that amazing rush from winning. We aren't all equal , so if you have the will power to drink and not relapse ... I just would hate for you to fall into the darkness .

Probably the best, and most moving article I have ever ever read. You are a giver!

cool:) i enjoyed reading this!

Are you Medusa =) ?

No, medusa is Idea Medusa, and she's inside everyone one of us. I haven't put myself in there as I don't that's appropriate.

"Disruptive black swan hatchling," oooooh.... am feelin that!

Thanks for an incredibly generous post, @stellabelle. I intend to better understand @dan's vision and philosophy, and am glad you referenced his blog (new here, lol). Visionary stuff... as is your dash! ;-)

ah, yes, Dan's blog is a game-changer that few have really ventured into.

Awesome post! Thanks for sharing so many great ideas. Definitely food for thought (and maybe food for home delivery)

That's exactly what I was referring to. First one to do toilet paper home delivery, something that everyone needs, wins. I'd probably pay double for this service.....just so I don't have to convert my Steem Dollars.

Is there a market place for selling things on Steemit? If not, you just sell via a post as if the post is an ad on Craiglists?

it is coming. I don't have details but i know it's coming.

When I tag you in a post do you get some sort of notification about it?

i have not seen that.

This is the post I tagged you on:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@nathanbrown/whales-what-do-you-want-to-buy-with-your-smd

Wanted you to know it inspired me to try and find out what whales want to purchase with SMD.
