Thank you for your comment. You raise a valid point. First of all welcome to #Steemit. I could not agree more with you about simplifying the techy side of things. I for one have been out the street promoting #Steemit, handing out Flyers, T-Shirts, Business Cards, Mugs, Pens and Caps and know that there is definitely a barrier when it comes to the technical complexity of the platform. The real problem that #Steemit has is that it has been developed by some of the great techy minds that just assume the average person gets it. The stark reality is that the average person has absolutely no idea what it is and what is does, let alone wanting to join. When I promote and market #Steemit, I cut out a lot of the garbage that simply confuses people and sell a "Life Style" Social Media experience. The nuts and bolts I put to one side. Stephen

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. I guess we still have to keep advertising with WOM( word of mouth) and make people understand the aesthetic side of Steemit.
