Very well written post which makes it easy for new users to get a good idea about what can be done on steemit. I also like that you clarify that Steemit is not "fast easy" money but that you need to produce good content and keep engaged. I think many (new) users have the assumption that you are guaranteed rewards regardless of the post quality, which is not the case.

Yes, 100% correct. Even post quality is not a guarantee either. There are a lot of users who create a few (quality posts) and don't get much attention, and then give up and leave. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to build up a following and get consistent attention/views/votes.
