The rising problem of the STEEMIT community

Ok look...

I'm trying to give steemit a chance here. I bought into the whole idea and I figured I can just blog away and make some change if anything. Never really cared about getting huge GAINS or anything like that from it, but I figured at the very least it would be an interesting community.

Here is where things are on thin ice for me.

Everything feels squeaky clean polished to the point of feeling robotic. Every post / reply reads like some weird college homework assignment. Like the ones you had to do when you took online courses.

Maybe its because everyone thinks being pseudo positive and professional sounding will get them more money? Maybe it is kind of like a job to post away for pennies. Do all the "great post" replies actually amount to anything?

If anyone wants steemit to feel like a real community, we should all just relax. Shoot the shit. Smoke a joint or something. Whatever you have to do to act natural. Right now everyone feels like their on their first date.
