Hi guys, here's a small overview of the recent @tipU updates:
60% of Curation Rewards Paid To Investors / SP Delegators
In order to compensate for the STEEM price drop, the percentage of curation rewards paid to investors (in liquid STEEM) has been increased to 60%. Of course this is permanent change and if STEEM price goes up again, it won't be lowered. In fact, I'm thinking about doing the opposite ;)
Upvote Multiplier Adjusted To x2
So this is the second change in regards to the STEEM price drop. Change from 2.1 to 2 will increase the SBD profit by 5% and it will also allow to cast more votes so more people can use @tipU service.
By the way, upvote of x2 of the payment is still more than most of the bidding bots offer (around x1.8). Yet, the goal here is to create the most profitable and most investor-friendly bot so I will be monitoring the situation and adjust the upvote multiplier accordingly.
Checking Investment Status Using Comments
If you don't want to go to wallet and send 0.001 SBD transfer to @tipU to check the status, you can also write anywhere a comment with: @tipU status and @tipU will respond with a comment containing investment statistics.
Refund And Payout On Demand
Making a refund of the investment (taking back invested SBD/STEEM) will also trigger payout on demand. The logic here is that if you want to receive your SBD/STEEM back, you want all of it - including any pending payouts.

You can withdraw the SBD by sending 0.001 to @tipU with memo: withdraw
And send them again with memo: invest
Yeah this was a long time ago, I was basically using it to tip people when I say a good article, but after a few months it seemed to stop working, not sure what happened. Let's invest it.

Hm, maybe you used the whole deposit?:D anyway, feel free to reinvest them.
As for reserving upvote - sadly not, as it would just create a few-days long queue for an upvote and there's no point in promoting old posts. You need to try to send the upvote when @tipU is voting (in about 8 hours from now) or wait till @tipU gets more SP delegations :)
By the way, apart from investing you can also delegate - @tipU can now create a delegation link, just write a comment with: I want to delegate 100 SP to @tipU (or any other amount of SP). Cheers!

I am interested in delegating as well, whats the typical ROI on 1000SP delegated? I have seen a couple decent ones around 30% such as ebargains and brupvoter, what % do you offer, can you lock in a fixed rate or is it all dependent on bids?

Around 1 SBD and 0.1 STEEM but it directly depends on STEEM price. Recently STEEM price is lower which also lowers the profits (the ratio is 1:1)

It's a fixed rate (sometimes I change it by few %) so profits depend only on STEEM price.

Its not bid based - more like payment based :P @tipu spends about 20h daily on recovering voting power (1 voting session and then recover). Im actually thinking about splitting it to more sessions but each session will last shorter. Stay tuned ;) tip!

@cardboard I did that. It didn't work. How can SP be refunded? It would have to be powered down to SBD, then that can be transferred/refunded.
So basically, it sounds like my earnings are taken by tipu so it can buy its own SP. YIKES! That's very deceptive.
