I have witnessed a friend of mine lose his Facebook account to this scammy trick.

Thank you for pointing out this scammy trick. So many of them out there, cloning names and sites to hack accounts of the unsuspecting.

The only difference is now is, "more work" on my part as i will also now need to make sure to send an email to each new steemit account holders, with their first sign-in password etc after verifying them in chat sessions or through referrals etc
