The steemit account-opening that i have proposed here days ago, has got tougher.
I understand "steemit INC" well now, more than ever before, when it comes to their application of a manual verification during sign-ups and i understand even better, why the process may be slow. Signing-up to steemit, now constitute a thing of joy, more than ever before and many people are trying to sign up.
Among, the few accounts that have sign-up by my help recently, some did indeed have "tears of joy". These steemians have been wanting to sign-up for and have tried the conventional "steemit sign-up" and were so happy to eventually get their accounts ready.
The tone of their joys is also evident in their eventual introductory posts.
In the case of "steemit INC", the sign-up process involves "a responsibility" and it is a huge one.
Apart from the SP involved during delegation, that allocates start-up bandwidth to users allowing them to interact with the steem blockchain with convenience, there is also "namespace", which according to me even, is important "not to put to waste" e.g a reputable brand may want to join steemit with their brand name as username and may not find this name available because it may have been created by someone not involved with them etc
In general, i am sure there is "responsibility" involved as i do feel "a responsibility" as well, since i have started helping more massively with "steemit account opening".
I do want to help with signing up existing entities especially, and those who are likely to add value to the steem blockchain.
Among other things, i am just a user and i have limited resources in terms of start-up delegation and i would prefer to help existing verifiable entities to sign up, especially, those who have already tried the conventional sign up method for months or weeks. I also want to favor those who are willing to powerup their first series of earnings to be instill into the culture of powering-up from the onset and so that they can generate their very own SP, so as to have enough bandwidth to comment, vote, post etc more conveniently.
I look to maximize the use of SP that i have available for valid purpose and to reach as many people as possible. (for sign-ups)
Steeminvite was quite easier for me. I simply sent the invite and have invitees do the process of signing up. I didn't have responsibilities for their passwords etc.
I simply had to verify people who visited me by means of an entire chat session, where i also had to educate them on the need to "power-up" their first series of earning to attain their first allotment of bandwidth and the need to do a top-notch introductory post that appeals to curators and give curators more freedom to vote.
I also have reputable steemians who refer email lists to me, which cuts down on "my need to do extra verification" etc but it just got extra harder as steeminvite is going to be down for some time as steemconnect version 1, which was used to sign in to the steeminvite website was taken down as what's current is;
steemconnect version 2.
According to @pharesim, he will work on a fix really soon but i already had a number of accepted invites using his site and as i can not log in, i have been unable to complete some sign-ups.
For these ones, i will start all over with slightly new terms!

Thus, i have considered a tweak to the terms and method used, which will just cost me more effort and responsibility but i am embarking on it as it has now become a thing of great joy for prospective sign-ups to get their steemit accounts.

I will be using steemconnect henceforth. All are accounts are opened under the @steemgigs account as has been the case.
The account opening is my role as steemit witness and it is a responsibility.
The only difference is now is, "more work" on my part as i will also now need to make sure to send an email to each new steemit account holders, with their first sign-in password etc after verifying them in chat sessions or through referrals etc
This process is slower for me, as i have to do it one by one and be careful to make sure i send out the right login details to the right emails
I don't like wasting namespace either. Thus, i have to be extra careful as well during the account creation process.
If you are interested in this method, you will have to agree to "allowing me have your first password", which will be sent to you via email but which "you will have to change" once you are logged in on steemit.
Generating new passwords is very easy. Simply look below:
Make sure to back up newly generated password derived when you change password using on https://steemit.com
I won't want to stay responsible for the security of your account, so please make sure to change your passwords after you have been sent your very first login email from me.

To avail of this, you have to either be referred to me by a reputable steemian that i know or you can reach me here to have a chat session.
To make the verification easier for us both, i will give preference to people who have actually signed-up using the conventional "steemit sign-up" and have not been approved for weeks.
So you will need to show me a screenshot of the email you received from "steemit" upon signing up and the date should be captured too!
Proceeding to account creation after the chat session will be at my discretion.

Notice that you won't be able to choose a username like this @bxdecvv.ph because if there is a (.) in the username, then, steem only accept a minimum of 3 characters after the (.)

When I made new account after I was some time face continuous bandwidth issues, but now I increase some Steem Power, now I've not face. This is really a great step to registration process, it will really reduce the complain of several prospective steemians who have not been able to get registered after weeks of attempt.
The new users should ensure they stick to instructions regarding their password, so they dont compromise it and blame others or the registration process for it.
I think this should be in bold, so they won't have excuse of not seeing it.

I just convince 12 people to join this social media platform and they all suffered from the huge time of approval by steemit community. I think steemit should be quick in approving new members request so that no one feel this difficult and irritating.
Apart from that, we all are loving this platform once we joined it. It's super UNIQUE platform.

Also, going out of your way to get people on Steemit is highly commendable as well. The issue with signing up new accounts is apparent. I have same issues with new sign ups I introduced Steemit to.
I saw a video of @ned as of recent where he mentioned that the Steemit team are working on it, especially in the automation of sign ups Andy initial SP delegation.

It is even more than three to four days now. I tried to open an account for a friend and I was expecting it for more than a 6 days until I decided to open it through blocktrade. There are thousands of people trying to open an account on steemit now. So it is making it get worse to open an account.

Now that steeminvite is down, how do I get the invite to them again? And some of them that actually accepted the account invite without me completing the account creation process, will I have to start all over for them? The account creation process is manual. This is because Steemit will have to delegate about 14 sp and bandwidth space for each new account. So they try to verify each account before creation and this unfortunately might take long. Mine too 13 days but through steeminvite you could delegate some sp and help get some people instant account creation. That too is down now as explain in the post.
My friend registered for weeks now but no email has been sent to approve the account. What could be the problem?
The verification process is manual so it can take some time... I made two of my friends sign up on Steemit and they got the verification email in 3 days. I thought for sure they will wait a couple of weeks at least.

So many people are opening a new account and abandoning it after making an intro post. This costs the platform and creates a lot of problem, so registration takes way longer than before now. I registered for someone too in my Church and we couldn't receive a text notification...plus the rate at which people are registering on the platform is now higher than before. Steemit is growing faster and that is why the awesome @surpassinggoogle is trying to make it easier for people by helping with invite to register.
I also referred steemit to my relatives and until now no verification email. I will tell them about this steemconnect 2 and if they agree I will connect them to sir @surpassinggoogle to help them for their registration..

He @surpassinggoogle said only those with screen shot of the email sent for verification who haven't been attended to yet are those he can help out with, for now, due to the server being down at steeminvite.
Nope. Thus are measures especially cos naijans are making me tire out. Anyone can reach me, i am just giving those with emails better priority or referral. Only i know how i am.

Bidbots are a bad idea, in general.
They used to be a good investment, but now that there are a lot of people using them (Some of them without any idea about how they actually work) there is literally almost no opportunity to get a positive ROI.
You will almost ALWAYS lose money using them. Very rarely you will break even. And virtually never will make a dime out of them.

The best way I've found is using Discord communities and just finding some good and popular steemians and commenting their posts, adding value to them. Every day.
It takes time and inolvement. Discipline. Post and comment everyday. At first its frustrating, but in time it slowly starts to add on. I have now 200 SP in three months (After losing about 50 in bots and frauds). I post twice almost every day and comment about one or two hours every day. Other thing you can do is participate in giveaways and contests.
These are good, active discord groups you can try (They are general communities, there are also specific groups for literature, art, science, education, crypto, etc.)

Hi Sir Terry @surpassinggoogle, My friend have tried creating an account for almost a month and still no verification, I also try to make an account for him through steeminvite, however I was a very stupid person that I misspelled his gmail account. I only have 25 SP and can't afford to request for another one as it requires a minimum of 14.5 SP. I am hoping that you can help him later, its just that he is offline (seems to be sleeping Hahahaha). That is also the reason why I can't show some screenshots of his email send by steemit, I just want to ask you if you could allow him to send an email to [email protected] for his request??

But I also have an issue of an account that is yet to be open. The account proposed name has been verified not to be used by anybody but he approval has not been sent for the past 2weeks plus now and is really disturbing. What can be done in this aspect? Your response will be appreciated..

Thank you for taking it upon yourself to see how to offer lasting solutions to this particular problem, I also appreciate efforts made by @pharesim and others to fix this.
Few days ago, a friend sent invites for two persons to join, one was successful and the other wasn't. They requested for the invitee's account to be completed and approved by the sender of the invite. On receiving email for this, we tried severally to open the link so as to complete the approval process, but all efforts proved abortive.
I am hopeful using steemconnect 2 as an alternative interface will help fix this challenge, since the first interface has been taken down.

I totally agree with you signing up is becoming harder and I must commend you for this initiative, the Steem ecosystem is lucky to have you and I do hope other community leaders will take a cue from this. My hope is that the wealth can be spread around a little bit more on Steemit so as to increase the rate of retaining new Steemians.
@surpassinggoogle The efforts you put into helping people is just amazing. Helping people sign up amidst this difficulty is really a thing of joy. I am not surprised with the tears of joy that those people shed. It is really commendable.

I register 6 months in steem i have 100steem yet i have uses steem only part time whenever i free from my study and and any other daily routine work i uses it only for enjoying but i have learn so much about crypto from steemit and surpassing google help me always if any body have free and he want to involve in steemit with truly it will be works definately

I understand it when you talk of the joy one has after his/her account sign up has been successful. It's unspeakable joy. Realising that you've finally got approved to start making money that is worth your efforts brings overwhelming happiness. Though after this step there is a lot more to learn about steemit which involves patience and a lot of hard work.
Here in Uganda we are facing a huge challenge; accounts that have been signing up for the last 4 weeks have not been approved.. It's getting frustrating and I think your idea of using delegation will work this issue out faster.
