π Every week, I decided to update the different cryptocurrencies I own and would like to ask you which one do you believe in the most in your respective wallet. π
This is the 22nd weekly: "What cryptos do You own?"
- As I work in finance, Stock Markets polls are very useful for fund managers to understand what investors own because they currently like it and what they do not.
- Usually, in the Stock Market, it is not very good to own a stock that everybody owns; it means that most investors bought it already and therefore, future demand will be low.
- Whereas understanding which one are under owned is very useful in case a positive news is released on the stock. Since a few investors own it, they will rush to buy some and the price will increase significantly.
My current portfolio and reasons why I own these cryptos:
I had reopened some leveraged EOS position after this correction and it is finally paying off. EOS is rebounding very strongly.
Cryptocurrencies that I own
- Steem: If you read this, you know why. I am still mad that I did not buy more at <1$
- Eosio (EOS): I believe in Dan Larimer; he already developped 2 great projects (Steem and Bitshares) and as the Co-founder of Steemit on @SGTReport said about Dan larimer and its EOS ICO: βThe people who say that there is no product yet, Dan has built 2 of them if they think heβs not gonna build the 3rd one, theyβre crazy. This is the one he always wanted. The other 2 were just helping him get thereβ. EOS is showing some nice upward trend recently. I can see some βWhalesβ are stacking them.
- Ethereum (ETH): In my opinion, it has been the most exciting project in cryptos so far. This project has been copied or inspire many other hot cryptos (NEO, EOS...). Devon3 gathering brought a lot of visibility on Ethereum's next improvements especially on the scalability issue.
- Siacoin (SC): Siacoin is a solution that allow companies to use storage in a decentralize on Siacoin network. βMinersβ are renting their storage capacity. It is 5-10x less expensive than with traditional companies as Amazon Web Services, Google, etcβ¦
Cryptocurrencies that I used to own
- STORJ: Same business plan as Siacoin, smaller Market Capitalisation and recently the company announced that it βfrozeβ some of its tokens as they will not need it in the next 6months+ to finance the development of the platform. This is a good sign as it tells us the team is feeling confident to have βall it needsβ to deliver what the market expects.
- Golem (GNT): It is a cryptocurrency allowing you to use the calculating power of the computers connected to its blockchain network. This is useful for companies looking to rent some calculating power for a project, etcβ¦
- Mysterium (MYST): * The company is developing a Blockchain VPN. As China is trying to implement its Great Internet Wall before 2018, this would block VPN based technology. This project could offer a solution to Chinese and even other people to have more privacy while browsing through the internet
- Basic Attention Token (BAT): It radically improves the efficiency of digital advertising by creating a BAT coin that can be exchanged between publishers, advertisers, and users.
- Augur (REP): I just like the prediction market project. They have a good team of developers and seem to work very hard on this project. And last but not least but they keep you updated on a weekly basis and were at Devcon3 recently.
- Ripple (XRP): Signed most of the TOP50 banks and is runned very professionally. It is working with Chinese partners on many projects.
- Stratis (STRAT): Stratis offers full service capabilities for the development, deployment and management of blockchain applications and solutions utilizing C#.Stratis tries to make it easier for companies, organisations or other entities to develop a blockchain app.
- Ethereum Classic (ETC): I think it is undervalued, dapps and other projects are using it as the Ethereum network is getting crowded.

I am long Altcoins and still not interested by BTC
Bitcoin was the first Crypto, butβ¦ I always preferred Altcoins (EOS, SC, GLM, XRP, REPβ¦).

Kwould you recommend SYS? How did the web-launch go?
I own steem, litecoin and Bitcoin.
Like you I am more interested in altcoin than Bitcoin, smaller coins have higher potentials of doubling faster than Bitcoin hence faster returns.
Coins I'd love to own in the future.
My major setback in buying more coins is limited funds, and school, final year student at the University. School takes all my time and money.

EOS for the win. I have been slowly moving most of my holdings into EOS over the past couple of months. Getting ready for the snapshot be for June and the airdrops. I also own a little LTC. I have been a fan of it from when I first started investing. I think it has the potential to be pretty big if it can just get out of the shadows a little.
We will then be side by side waiting for the mooning EOS.
ETC is very potential I believe .

According to the white paper , it seemed SRN usage mostly for purchase Sirin Labs's products :

Kcs! Curious how things will evolve at Kucoin. To bad I only have a few. I do see it as a little daily income.
Itβs a really cool project and Iβm sure decentralized exchanges will employ similar reward programs in the future as competition heats up exchanges will need to do something to keep us loyal! I wish I knew about KCS sooner and could have got my 10k shares at a steal! Working it out you would make about 7600 dollars a year just for hodln regardless of price which isnβt too bad

On the 30th of November 2017 they were trading at 38 cents so I took a chance and sold all Mynette ETH for it! If you keen on KCS is say buy some ETH and leave it in kucoin so you can quickly take advantage of the price dips when they happen! But make sure you check the kucoin earnings site you can google it shows you how much you can earn depending on your shares
I doubting if I will increase to 200. Friday is bsides paycheck day also decision day. Only limited funds to invest and so many coins I do want to buy. Kcs is already the share leader of my portfolio. I know that I will purchase Neo for sure and probably some Steem!
I feel you bro! This dip got me licking my lips but I donβt know where the bottom so Iβm holding out for now! I did pick up 200 dollars worth of DENT so far during this bear run. Iβm eyeing some Cardano and stellar
So far i own bitcoin, steem, ethereum and altcoin.
With altcoin undergoing its bearish period, I must say its kind of frustating to even think of getting another crypto account. I can't still believe I've lost about 75% of my altcoin due to its massive value decline.

Bin noch nicht im besitz von Btc und ETH da ich im Monat ja nur um 100 Euro kauf dauert es noch ein wenig mich auf zu bauen gg bzw habe ich noch eine vertrag bei hashfare minig 5 ths wo ich hoffenlich noch ein wenig btc bekomme obwohl es gerade nicht sehr profitabel ist ...lg an alle

Good to see that there are strong believers in Stratis.
The coins which are having my strongest support are Elixir and Oyster. Maybe also Snovio.
I did not see these in the list. Snovio is adding extra features but has a long way to go!
Oyster will be having an airdrop on the 1st of April!
And Elixir is a dark horse! Pretty unknown, so you can still buy it cheap!!!
Kucoin Shares, Zcash and Substratum are my main investments. I like coins that pay dividends or allow you to earn coins through using their products.
right now i am proud owner of ETC (bought at $33, now it is $19), some STEEM, XLM, ADA
plus mined some exotic alts ;)
