Hey people of steem,
So I am at the point where I am ready to shake things up with my account. The original plan was 25k but I am fine with where it is. The plan now is to do daily contests every morning and pick three winners the next day. The goal is to make this a spot where people from inside and outside of steem come in to enter the contests. It would be one of the only spots on the internet where people can win something that is pretty much cash. And I would only be doing a post or two a day so I would have the voting power to spend.
This is still the plan but I want to know what people think about it. Is there something you would rather? I am planning on doing only a post or two a day when I get started. It can be an article and a contest. Or just a contest. Or just an article. What is the feeling on this site at this time? Should I just wait for communities?
Let me know in the comments. If the contest goes through I will do a big post to ask for delegation (whatever I can get) and let people know guest judges are welcome everyday. There will be more details to come. But again please let me know what you guys are thinking or feeling with the site.
I think the contest should be like the others you did but now on a daily cooldown instead of 3h like it was before, it was a pretty good format!
Yeah that is the plan 24 hours every single day. Do it every morning and then reward the winners from yesterday.
Okay, here is the thing - Since last few months I have entered plenty of contests because they are a pretty good way to earn some cash for more SP or earn some SBD or steemmonster cards. As a noob, they allow me to be on equal footing with even Dolphins and Orcas (if the enter). That is what I like about contests on Steemit - they are equal for the noob and the oldie alike.
I have noticed that a lot contest organizers mix things up. That keeps things interesting and keep the regular participants on their tows. Sometimes the contest organizer would simply cancel the contest and do it a day later with even a bigger prize...... things like that.
So my suggestion is contest + article would make for more fun. Sometimes it even be could be an entry of other posts and see who wins.

I want to make it a constant thing that people visit everyday if I can. Not just steemit but anyone on the internet
Would you do it on a separate website? That could allow the people from outside to participate.....
No they would have to make an account but it can help grow the site. i just mean even if they do not use the site they will log in to play the contest once a day kind of thing.
I was wondering how the outsiders could play....... doing the contest here would be really cool.
Although I think you might have to promote it over twitter, facebook and such to invite folks over. I guess aside from resteeming you can perhaps ask the users here to share it over their own social media accounts................ just a thought.
Was thinking that too :). I was hoping it would get to the point where this page was a hub for people to come everyday to play a contest. Might be far-fetched but worth a shot.

I believe many steemit users would appreciate you for it especially when cash is involved. Hopefully I will be among the lucky winners of the contest.

Which is the only place on the Internet where we can all earn something, which is a lot of cash And you can not do more than two posts or two a day here ??
You can do as many posts as you want but you only have 10 full upvotes a day

Great thought and appreciate what you are doing for the smaller users and the community as a whole given the interest in bringing new users! Something daily is great but consider more time in between as people signing up take a while to get on board.
the contest idea is great. you already have the steem power to give people a little something especially in some third world countries your votes can make an impact. Also because i really enjoy you articles especially the gaming ones if you had the time i would prefer both of them but i can understand this give your free time so even if the articles aren't everyday i would still be happy!
Also i would love to take part as a guest judge!

Sounds like a lot of work from your part, but way to go... Kudos friend.
I've not seen one of your contests before, but from what I've noticed, having some way to spread the winners around and ensuring everyone has an equal chance of success. Too many contests seem to reward the already established i.e. the rich get richer scenario.
