How did I know Steemit?
That was January when my sister in law @avon.grace introduces Steemit to me. That was really timely cause during that time I don't have a job and she knew that I needed work to earn money. At first I wasn't interested because I didn't have internet connection, which is most needed in Steemit. It was also a blessing cause I knew a friend who connects internet with an affordable price, so I didn't let the opportunity pass, I grabbed it.
Feb.7,2018 Wednesday that I signed up. They said I have to wait 3-7 days for activation. For some, they have waited a month before it get activated. But my account was activated for only 3 days. Yehey!! I was so happy and excited. But I do not know how to start. Of course, my sister in law is there to rescue. I went to their house to ask her help, maybe that was 8pm. We were 4 of us during that time asking her help. Even from account making, until our first blog, she was their supporting us. Isn't she's kind, right? 😉😁
What is my first impression about Steemit?
Since I was new, I didn't understand all of it. I find it a little challenging. Actually, until now. haha I still do not know much. But I am willing to learn. This blogging site is okay. Why? It's because you'll earn everytime you post something unlike posting to your facebook account in which you will only get likes. Of course, if we are more practical we will prefer to spend time on the things we make money. Sometimes I'm laughing at myself because all the time I look around is suddenly becoming a potential for me to post. So I took a lot of pictures of anything my eyes see. Haha sounds addict? I've always wondered what to post in the next following days. Haha you have to admit it that you too, right? Haha.Well, Steemit is okay. I'm glad that I'm able to create ideas that inspire me and I hope it inspires you also.
Things I've learned from Steemit in just 1 month.
At first I admit, I just think of myself. Yes I was selfish! Because I'm new, I just think about gathering many upvotes in my posts in order to gain a lot of money. I even ask lot of upvotes to anybody else. But it's wrong! It is necessary to think of others not just myself. It is necessary to communicate not only to get their likes. Not only to earn. I have to make friends to get to know them and also to help them. That's exactly what happened, I tried to be sincere to those I know here. I'm pretty much acquainted with many. They will voluntarily give their likes, you don't have to beg it to them.
I also learned not to focus too much on steemit. I joined here to support only my basic needs. Steemit wouldn't be prioritize that it will get a lot of your time than spending for Jehovah God doing more important things. Be contented! Do not be fooled! Just relax. Jehovah knows my needs. If I prioritize him, everything will follow. (Matthew 6:33) How about you, what do you learn?

Most newcomers do not realize that they need to communicate with their followers when they comment. Engaging them in a conversations builds a strong follower. I try to respond to everyone's comment unless they are spammers.
It is such a gift to make friends from all over the world, and so many different cultures.
I am glad I got to read this post. You put it together very nice. And to top it off you have a cute smile.
Be sure and have fun on steemit. I was getting discouraged when I first started and put things on hold for a couple of months. When I decided to come back I decided I was going to have some fun, and do the best I could with my blogging.
