Do you know the age of your ovules?

There is a hormone that its analysis allows us to know the age of the eggs and thus make plans for the future. It is the Hormone Antimülleriana, can be evaluated any day of the month and its reading allows us to know the ovarian reserve (total number of eggs), quality and age of them.

Previously, specialists could see the egg count with a transvaginal ultrasound on the third day of menstruation to count the antral follicles (sacs where the immature eggs are) and a blood test to see the levels of F.S.H (the hormone that regulates the menstrual cycle and the development of the follicles). The good news is that with the study of the Antimüllerian Hormone you have accurate information.

All girls at birth already have all their eggs (about 2,000,000) when they reach puberty are left between 300,000 and 500,000 eggs, with each menstruation about 1000 eggs die per month, but only one or two eggs are expelled each cycle to be fertilized, the woman gets to release about 500 eggs throughout her life, this does not mean that she is going to run out of eggs, that amount is enough, it is a natural process.

The most fertile stage goes from 20 to 30 years old and begins to decline at 35, a young woman who wants to postpone her motherhood for any reason, can do this test and make future decisions, can freeze their eggs and use them when you want.

This test should be performed on those women who have fertility problems, this allows the specialist to determine what treatment is appropriate for the couple who wants to conceive a baby, this test should be mandatory in any fertility center.

When you are a certain age (over 40) and the values of this hormone are very low, so any process of fertility is impossible, but you must not lose hope, you can resort to ovodonation (using eggs from an unknown donor), of course this is a delicate issue, but it is impressive the number of people who resort to it, even women over 45 and become pregnant.

There are many causes of infertility, but this hormone should be considered as the first choice before doing any other study.

If you are young or have fertility problems, talk to your specialist about this hormone. I hope this information is helpful.

My cousins wife is currently pregnant as a surrogate mom. The science of this is extremely interesting to me.

If it is very interesting, it is good that these advances exist, especially for those women who have problems getting pregnant. regards

I was just wondering if this test is readily available? Interesting indeed because this can definitely help those who are having trouble conceiving. #steemitmamas

It's a laboratory test, it's called antimullerian hormone. It is important to share this information, this should be the first test that should be done in those women who can not get pregnant. Before starting any other procedure.

Wow, that is interesting!
Thanks for sharing the info!
I never knew you lose a thousand eggs each month, wow! I thought only a couple at most. Shows what I know about my own ovaries, haha!

The ovules decrease with age. A woman of 35 years can have ovules of the age of a woman of 50 years and not be able to conceive. That can happen

Oh wow, thanks really good news for ladies who are seeking for help and advice on fertility and pregnancy, hope this isn't invasive since there are many procedures out there that could do more harm than good. Hope this will be widely practiced soon. Good read! Xx

It is a blood test to detect the hormone, it is not dangerous. regards

Hagah good to know the body
