Introduction
Success means many things to different people, but the general view of success is one who is outstanding in their career or profession and has amassed great wealth. In fact for some, wealth means success and you cannot separate the two. However, money alone does not make one really successful. The media portrays successful people as happy because of their wealth, but the reality is completely different. Wealth does not guarantee happiness. Since we all want to be happy at the end of it all, should we not chase happiness instead of success? I think we should. So what should we be doing now?
Drop the idea of success. You only want success because you believe success will make you happy. So instead, focus on doing things that make you happy. Success will come, but don’t let it define you."

I think success and happiness goes hand and hand. In order to feel happy one maybe able to achieve something they care about deeply. I agree with the part that it doesn't have to be earning a ton of money to equate to success. Finishing a book or solving a really complicated math problem could be a small success that brings happiness. Like the saying goes we do not live for the results but the journey towards it.
@focusnow, In my opinion expert in all activities nor wealth is success. Success is stepping towards our passion and exploring our passion and the process. In my opinion we all know that many people are experts or earned millions and billions but they don't have peace and sense of fulfillment, they are living the life like a robot 🤖.

We all have our own dream, but we just pass it, because the system we live in has other priorities. We sacrifice our dreams for the system needs.
For me, success is about developing and educating myself. I read a lot, I paint, I watch online lectures, I'm about to start a Masters degree, and I attend psychoanalytic psychotherapy twice a week. It's really hard to not be effected by society though, and their constant attempts at trying to reduce me to my job. I wish there were actual bohemians here in London and a place I could go to where people valued nothing but art and knowledge. There isn't though...
Success means you are doing well. It has nothing to do with a job in the first place. That is what people make out of it.
Question is also... if you are successful/your company is which roads did you take to get that far.
People can also be succesful in scamming, cheating, lying, etc.
Success should not be the goal of our life, it must be happiness.
When we understand that the most valuable is our day to day we will be happier and in constant success.
Success and happiness go together although if you are happy faster you succeed.
