No teacher, no education

The teacher is an important figure in the lives of people everywhere. The role of teachers is very important in the education sector. Without a teacher, there is no education.

Education is fundamental to development and growth. Why is that? The human mind makes possible all development achievements, from health advances and agricultural innovations to efficient public administration and private sector growth. For countries to reap these benefits fully, they need to unleash the potential of the human mind. And there is no better tool for doing so than education.

Teachers have a great responsibility. They educate their students to have a personality, intellectual ability, how to solve a problem in life, and how to make the students become independent figures in the future.

Teachers are the prime mover of education. Education without teachers will be in vain. Education without teachers would be like a herd of sheep without a shepherd and anyone can tell what would become of such a herd, they would be devoured by wild animals.

As a teacher, we should be proud of the profession and must have the high motivation in teaching and guiding our students. Children are the future assets of a most precious country. However, if our children are not getting the right education from a good teacher, then our country will be destroyed. Especially if led by people who are not educated. Educated here in a broad sense, including morals and ability to lead.

Then, what is your motivation to become a teacher? Let us ask our deepest heart. Have we become teachers just to get a monthly salary or other motivation for a noble cause? People's motivations vary. But if we have become a teacher, then the main motivation to think about is how our students will become successful students in the future.

We will feel if we see our students become successful people in their respective fields. However, we will feel guilty if we see our students fail in fulfilling their future to a better one. According to the 2015 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) report - a program that ranked the quality of the education system in 72 countries, - Indonesia ranks 62. Two years earlier (PISA 2013), Indonesia was ranked second from the bottom or ranked 71.

This shows that the quality of teachers is still low. I have to admit that. There are several reasons why teacher quality is low here. I think among them is the lack of motivation in teaching, the lack of self-development for teachers to want more advanced, lack of facilities and learning media, and government rules that confuse the teachers. that's the real condition I'm experiencing.[]

We can say that the lack of salary was the most logical reason too...

Teachers are very important in the society. In as much as people think that they can self-teach themselves things, it's not that easy. Not many can be that self disciplined.

It's painful to see teachers being paid small salaries yet they 'hold' the future of their students in their hands.

wah, serem juga lihat ranking Indonesia om. hihihhi

Sungguh sangat setuju @teukumukhlis guru itu sangat berperang di dunia pendidikan, tidak mungkin kita bisa tanpa guru,
