Okay, now when that is done, let's hit the topic.
Story behind my username is kinda boring actually. I was having coffee with lady @eveuncovered and ranting about my existential crisis. In same time I tried to come up with username different from my other alter ego. Which is also my irl nickname. I wanted to keep my privacy in Steemit so couldn't use the name that I usually always use. I'm big fan of escapism and it was the topic of discussion on that day. I'm also master of escaping things, mostly problems and life. So what would be more suitable than @escapist?
I'm quite devoted to this alter ego actually, and I have to admit that it gets more meanings everyday.
My real name? If I would tell you that, I'd have to kill you all. Sorry. My full name is rare, it is actually so rare that I'm only one in whole wide world to have that combination. So doxxing me would be way too easy. Not like it is hard now either... If someone is still missing the fact, I like my privacy, so no real names here in Bchain.
If i changed my current username I think I would still go with something similar. Like "Esc". I'm actually kinda jealous to @kex as his username is genius ! Also Esc would be just short version out of escapist, escapism or escape. Though i'm happy that I still can use Esc as a nickname. The first one who actually used it was @paolobeneforti in chat and I dig the nickname a lot! Also, "Ham" would be fun username too. And even the story behind that would be funnier!

Aww, thanks. Nobody ever calls me humorous! It does, does it. All tho, the "Ham" story would be still so much better. But i guess it doesn't count as that nickname I got here in steemit.

Perfect timing because I was about to explain my name in another post I was preparing, but now that you challenged me, I'll make a proper post dedicated to my username and the challenge. Unfortunately the Mohawk on my head was born after I started my Steemit journey so that didn't come into consideration. But don't worry, my username goes deeper than what might seem on the surface and I think you're gonna love it once you learn what's behind it ;)
I'm sure this is going to make interesting story. Eager to find it out!

Escapist is a really awesome name in my opinion....and also a great occupation! I just love to imagine how awesome my life could be...while everything around me is on fire.
Somehow I knew you could relate to my escapism ;) I feel that this alter ego suits me perfectly, even better than my previous one!
