In my other participation in the Steemit Photo Challenge, this time in the challenge Derelict, I chose a photo that for me has a very big emotion load. Like some who follow me here from the beginning, they must know that I live in a totally abandoned neighborhood. A residential complex of buildings over 40 years and that for 15 years all buildings were abandoned because of the risk of collapse decreed by government officials linked to social defense. I speak of the Residencial Muribeca, in the metropolitan region of Recife, Brazil.
I have lived here for 22 years and in this place lived 10,000 people who lived in the 69 buildings that are part of this neighborhood. In the photo is the view that I have of the window of my house. In these buildings no one lives. The hope of everyone who has already moved is that their buildings be rebuilt and that they can finally back for their homes. This hope lasts for a long time, but faith and hope are what remains for these people.

Nice photo... but a sad story. I am sure there are probably people in your town that don't have a good place to live... and yet these buildings sit there, empty, abandoned. The world is a very unequal place, sometimes.
