“In a nutshell, Coinbase is carefully exploring not only the IEO space but also STOs [security token offerings]. But I can’t make any formal announcements right now.”

The timing of this is quite interesting.

In case you didn't hear, WeWork recently held an IPO and fell very short of the expectations placed upon them by the greater market.

IPOs of late have been losing a lot of juice as people worry that we're on the verge of an economic meltdown.

My opinion on all of this is that we have yet to see anything of substance happen.

Right now, we are in the midst of a whole bunch of indicators.

We're still waiting on the bigger picture to follow through, but the indicators are there nonetheless.

Announced in July 2018, Coinbase received regulatory approval to acquire several securities firms with broker-dealer licenses including Keystone Capital Corp., Venovate Marketplace and Digital Wealth LLC.

When you look at what's taking place, you can see that the world is continually moving toward cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology as one of the major game changers in the future to come.

We are just getting started with this massively innovative technology and there is much that still needs to be done in the way of making institutions and large corporations comfortable with using it.

What innovations in the institutional realm do you think are needed before we see mass-adoption from these large conglomerates?
