That was quite the journey, i witnessed it only after the adventure creation so i di not know the start:) It was a bit the same for me too, i was frustated and wanted to stop until i got my first big reward. This is a big problem with steem in my opinion for newcomer artists. Struggling to understand the basics you cannot know how to post in a way that you will get noticed. A supportive mechanism should be created so that new promising creative people feel that their work is valued from the start. In time they will find their own way:)
